I don't mind helping. Typically O2 volts are for narrow band O2 sensors, which Hellcats don't have (but most GM products suffer from (along with open loop tunes)). But, in the case of the HCs they do use Lambda as a basis for their tunes and are closed loop corrected using real-time info from...
Lambda is one scale of measure for all fuels and/or fuel compositions. It is the relationship of oxygen to everything else downstream of a combustion event. That isn't to say there is a magic number for all boosted engines (like 0.740 Lambda) you still have to tune for your combination. It is...
It is really a lot like the metric system or an integer. Left of centre is rich and right of centre is lean.
The Trans Am TA2 Challengers are sweet looking cars. But, I will have you know that the factory widebooty cars have special fenders and quarter panels... not just a set of JC Whitney...
My friends almost always make me drive; but the last time was a trip into downtown Toronto about a year ago - I just sat in the back cracking smart-ass remarks. However, I have taken to sitting in the passenger seat in my wife's truck because I don't care to drive it any more than I have to.
It isn't rich, it is just how it is displayed. From the factory these cars are tuned for 10% ethanol which richens up the AFR a bit; using Lambda makes way more sense when looking at oddball fuel compositions.
This explains it a bit...
If only there was a way to avoid all of those issues? Perhaps a high octane petroleum gas that is readily available in liquid form anywhere you buy gasoline, chips and Monster?
Man, wouldn't that be convenient?
That is SWEET! The Scat Pack emblem is one of my favourites... way better than the HC logo (no offense guys, but it is going to age about as well as tribal arm band tattoos).
That is a perfect indication of why spending the extra money on the (weak) HK system and Nav (which will become outdated) is like flushing money down the toilet. Android auto and any decent aftermarket pre-amp single sub in an enclosure are much better choices.
Here's what I have in my TBSS...
I get your point here. But, I didn't realize that I had to teach people how to recalibrate their car/speedo with a tire swap. I guess it is just painfully obvious to me at this stage in life. That's experience for ya.
