    Manual Transmissions Are The Best!

You, Sir - are a total stud. My uncle drove truck, and I was always in awe when he came by with his rig.

    Exhaust Difference?

I already did that on the previous page. My 2019 Challenger HC has the exact same exhaust as a 2018 Demon. Same cats as confirmed by an FCA employee, same everything. The only difference between the Demon/Redeye and the HCs/THs are in the static valvetrain events as ground into the cams and...

    Manual Transmissions Are The Best!

That sounds horrible. LOL. It may be quicker (in the right hands)... but, that doesn't make it better: https://tremec-blog.com/10-reasons-a-manual-transmission-is-better-than-an-automatic/...

    Exhaust Difference?

That is the cam and valve events.

    Manual Transmissions Are The Best!

I guess so? I just land-shark using all the sweet rural roads South of the city/river... You'd have to be a complete dummy to take the one highway during peak hours... but, then again that's the kind of people who typically buy automatics.

    2019 Redeye with 20k ADM

No hassle, no pressure... ever. Pretty hard to hassle or pressure people if they never show up.

    Manual Transmissions Are The Best!

For the under-represented 25% of us: Like mechanical jewelry.

    Exhaust scares small children

Well that is a question of exercising good judgement. But, hustling your ass off can raise your station... setting goals and remaining motivated will make for a very satisfying life. I've been told I was over-reaching on more than one occasion - they were obviously wrong; however, I have never...

    Exhaust scares small children

It is all good, man. Our roles as parents (and mentors) is to raise children above our personal accomplishments with focus, compassion, patience and understanding.

    Exhaust scares small children

That logic can be applied to every profession. But, here's the kicker and what I tell my kids: The only limitations you have in life are the ones that you set for yourselves; never allow anyone to tell you what you are incapable of (the inference being that most people of either scared or...

    "Project Demons Breath"

I posted a pic a few pages back, it is the snout from the 3.0L IHI blower used on the Hellephant. https://www.hellcatforum.org/threads/project-demons-breath.3136/post-29420

    Exhaust scares small children

Extenuating circumstances were obviously not included in my opinion. Our youngest is deaf... so talk about not being able to traditionally appreciate the sound of a loud car, eh? Thankfully the thrill of speed is still completely there for her.

    Exhaust scares small children

If I was attempting to run a business maybe. But, I paid more for the cam than I did engine... so I suck at this money management thing. She's back in the coal mines now...

    Exhaust scares small children

She is a great little garage monkey. Hell... she'll spin wrenches while teaching you French, sign language, how to go from mount to guard and eventually put your ass out cold with a rear-naked choke hold; and go on to tell you how much she loves the smell of WD40 and unspent hydrocarbons. This...

    Exhaust scares small children

No, not really. Mostly because I am not raising wussies and my kids love loud fast cars. Case in point - tonight my oldest helped me assemble a short block: Yeah... my 6 year old has more wrench time than most Hellcat owners - and if that makes you feel bad, it should.

Why doesn’t Dodge give gifts to us new Hellcat owners?

35,000 cars sold is a lot of freebies to hand out. I got some stickers in the mail a while back.

    "Project Demons Breath"

As has been previously discussed, or beaten to death, better fuel equals a satisfactory safety net at the limit. Pump 94 isn't as consistent as 94 in a can; but, that is cost prohibitive (still not sure how the juice is worth the squeeze when you are willing to save pennies vs. risking spending...

    It's That Shitbox Dodge Again!

Seriously. Think about the kind of irrational people who argue inane topics on Facebook, get pissy when their name is misspelled on an overpriced cup of coffee, or blame fast food corporations when they have to pay for a seat belt extender. Who's issues are these really? Yours. Find real...

Power can be extrapolated from the timeslip - trap speed don't lie. This thing will respond nicely from these mods... especially with good fuel and more timing.

    It's That Shitbox Dodge Again!

Precisely. I find it troubling how few people can remain objective when their decisions are being criticized - almost like a form of religious infallibility or nationalism (USA! USA! USA!). Sure you are good, but you aren't THAT good. Don't like an opinion? Refute it with facts not emotional...
