But, then why were you so convinced new special models were coming? Are we living vicariously through other people's poor financial decisions? Because that's what these "improvements" represent... somebody is on the hook for it.
And with all the unsold HCs and THs and Power Dollars it is...
But, that is just us being victims of greed/inflation, not bad cars. If a supercharged 426 had come out (LOL - not going to happen (y'all need to see a therapist about that RS BS)) or an ACR Challenger is on the horizon (I'll believe it when I see it) would you feel $100+K is acceptable because...
I hear you. But... why do you feel you need something new every 5 years? Change for the sake of change is wasteful. The industry has you convinced that you NEED change or you are losing out. Losing out on what exactly? I need someone to explain that to me. Yeah, it is the premise of...
But that's the thing: What more can we reasonably expect? Cars are dead nuts reliable, handle well, perform great, look pleasing. Hell, even tech has jumped the shark to the point we are going to see legislation pull it back out or restrict its use.
You say the Challenger/Charger look dated...
Nope. Since the getting our HC I am pretty much done with new cars beyond outright necessity. I am starting to think I want another 1999-2002 Z28 Camaro... that was such a pure driving experience. Only problem is they are all roached out now, and some asshats are pretending like they have...

Thanks.
I go in dry with a single cut on the aluminum, work the seat with a double cut, and blend the work in with straight and tapered 80 grit sanding drums.
I get the same reaction with our LS swapped cars - mostly because they only ever see it in magazines or on YouTube. Who did the work? Me. All of it. Soup to nuts. But, it is awesome to be able to show people it can be done... and the enthusiasm expressed by my kids who helped.
Hell... I...
I think you missed the point. It is all about respect.
Obviously the vaping Focus bros you experienced didn't have any to begin with. Not for you. Your cars. Or the event. This video is about the counter-culture to all of that. Hence the don't be a dick part. Treat it like it is your own...
This is precisely why we spec'd our HC with the widebooty and sexy speed manual transmission. It will (likely) remain the highest horsepower (American) car ever made with a manual transmission.
EDIT: Forgot the ZR1 still had a stick last year.
EDIT2 (2019 production specs): A whopping 2,761...
