So, someone figured out how to turn on the Flex Fuel function in the tune, and determined which ECM pins to add wires (and a native sensor to connect) to? Excellent option for sure. But, hardly ground breaking in the grand scheme of things.
Using the bypass valve as a wastegate is also not a...
Or Ford.
The thing is with all the hertitage FCA could draw from with respect to graphics, the factory stripe options look like a total cop-out and after thought. The T/As are probably the nicest looking sticker packages of the bunch.
Why wait and not just build your own? Both Torqstorm and Procharger make HEMI kits and will push north of 600hp relatively easy. F150s are doing 11s with ease on stock 5.0s with a blower. My TBSS got into the 11s with a D1SC at 5300lbs including the two car seats still installed.
Sigh. You are just going to make a point of butting heads with me from now on, aren't you? Fine... let's do this.
Yes. Don't modify them if you want to avoid breaking them. Seriously. If anyone is going to be an emotionally stunted cry baby about how "Dodge failed us" by not building the...
I am willing to bet if you just enjoyed these cars as designed, and drove it appropriately, it would have few failures. Modifications and abuse lead to failure - that is the root cause. Adding power to a fat pig just makes it more likely to break a leg when it starts running.
You can strip...
None of that makes a lick of sense and here's why:
1. Just because the car carries you faster in spite of your absence of talent or skill does not make you a better driver. Just a better pilot. In the same way as having dulled vision and putting on expensive sun glasses "makes you better...
I dunno. I have seen some really fancy sports cars go to waste on the track/strip in the hands of a novice, and seen some seemingly really crappy cars wheeled to the limit - surpassing some really fancy sports cars along the way. No car is going to make someone a better driver, maybe just...
Probably, but it really doesn't fit the conversation as the ACR Viper and the GT500 aren't even in the same league. The only comparible for the GT500 is the ZL1 1LE... and even then it isn't tit for tat.
But, they made a bunch more widebody Redeyes, right? Still less than 3300 Demons after one year of availability, but there is also no limited production run (as though 3300 cars is anywhere near limited).
The Redeye with a tire on it is going to be the superior overall car. The Demon is a...
Wait?! I cannot do these things with my Hellcat? Damn... my wife and kids are going to be so disappointed now that the car is just garage art.
I'll pull their car seats out of the back tonight, and list my Racestars for sale momentarily... oh, and cancel my autocross club membership. I am so...
