On the Fence about ordering a 2021 TRX

Fair warning for those with a 4-post lift. My plan was to drive the TRX off the trailer and onto the lift before any actual driving took place. Well, that didn't work out since the lift is too narrow. A creeper tour will have to do, but it's not quite the same.

On the Fence about ordering a 2021 TRX

Oh, many I don't regret not doing, but also quite a few I do regret not doing.

On the Fence about ordering a 2021 TRX

Let's put it this way; I don't have a whole lot of regrets, but the majority of the ones I do have is about things I didn't do.

On the Fence about ordering a 2021 TRX

I did try mine in the Challenger, once. Stopped at roadwork and had time to fiddle with the damn touch screen. Yeah, they did work. Whoopee. Of course, living in "the desert", I don't have the same need for things like that as you semi-aquatic guys do.

On the Fence about ordering a 2021 TRX

Goodies?? I doubt that a TRX is so boring to drive that you need adaptive cruise. Or that Montana even has enough traffic to make it usable. Memory seats? Even I can tell if the seating position is comfortable or not. If it isn't, I can usually remember to change it. Cooled seats? You're not in...

There, I fixed it for you, vortecd.

On the Fence about ordering a 2021 TRX

What if it turns out that there will be no '22 TRX? Wouldn't surprise me one bit. Then there's lots to lose money wise if this crazy market doesn't last.

    TRX Orders

True, but why wouldn't they just order more of them, instead of paying ADM?

    TRX Orders

I dunno. I've seen at least a hundred or so listed as ordered from there. How many can they possibly need?

    TRX Orders

Well, there's no rush, but it gets old to rearrange everything around being able to leave for two days. I should probably just make it a one-dayer, as much as I don't feel like it.

    TRX Orders

Surely you meant "any week now".

    TRX Orders

You got good news, I did not. Got a call from the dealer: "We're sending the paperwork out today, you'll have it tomorrow". No, I won't. We'll be lucky to have it Friday, which means I can't leave until Saturday...when they close early. Although, the guy said "I live nearby, I can come back to...

    Passenger Rear Shock Leaking

Well, I wouldn't put that stuff in my tires, but that doesn't mean I'm not willing to try it in your shocks.

    Passenger Rear Shock Leaking

Mine came with a can of stop-leak in the trunk. Doesn't say it can't be used for shocks.

    TRX Orders

Well, it finally made it to the dealer yesterday. That means the papers will show up on Tuesday or Wednesday, and then I can go get it.

    Alphabet Agency Visited Me

Yeah, used for some Ford pickups, and in that new designer DEF.

    Hello from Houston

I think we can all agree that the 5/19 prediction is complete guesswork.

    Ordered 2021

It better be. From the looks of it I'm heading to Utah on Sunday or Monday to pick it up. Most likely, I'll be lazy and make it a 2-day trip, then it'll go from the trailer to the lift, and once everything is checked, the dismal break-in period can begin.

    Ordered 2021

You'll have to arrange for a refill, Eric. It's all gone down here now. That photo was a couple of weeks old.

    Ordered 2021

Okay, I think I've figured out why the insurance rate is as low as it is here. They know that it's likely I'll run off the road in some curve, and the car and I will end up some 1,000 feet down a slope. Out of sight. That way they don't have to pay out anything, since we're simply "missing".
