Well, a charge air cooler, or after cooler, can be an intercooler. And it can be the very same physical part. But as the name strongly implies, for it to be an intercooler it must be between two power adders. Most of us only have a single compressor, so we don't have intercoolers.

Made it to KZ a couple of days ago, after a 2-23 build date. Only three weeks "in jail" is much better than it could've been. Now it remains to be seen if it actually gets shipped at some point.

And the Gen 5 Ram 3500/2500 was supposed to be available a year or two ago. Things change. Although, even if the current Challenger will stay until '24, that doesn't mean it would even have a V8 by then.
