That's an okay down payment. For one of them. But now the TRX is ordered, so I do have to sell somewhat soon.

At this point I have an offer for $102,650 for two of the 4-doors (a '14 Ram 1500 and the 'Hawk) so you better decide within a day or two. By the way, that leaves me with only one 4-door, a Ram 3500, which I'm not selling. Unless I buy a 4500.

I'm now asked to send info on the 1500, too, to GivemetheVIN. It'll be interesting to see how they compare now, and compared to others. Apparently they like 4-doors. Go figure.

Well, in my case it looks like I can order new vehicles (at least certain models) and sell them for more than I paid. If paying MSRP, obviously that wouldn't work out well.

It's a bit disappointing that a perfectly good and well kept '14 1500 Big Horn Quad Cab with 22,395 highway miles on it is only worth about $23K these days. Must be because that gas sipping V6 isn't all that popular.

Not at all. But I've been curious for years if I could operate one well. All I could use it for, really, is to make the pastures smoother than what I can achieve with my home made "grader" setups. Anyway, as of last night the current plan is to sell the Cherokee, then order a TRX, and trade in...

And then what? I'd be tempted to buy something, but nothing out there interests me now. Although, there are some really nice Unimogs for that kind of money... Or maybe a road grader? Been wondering if I could learn to operate one of those.

The previous high was $76K, several months ago, so it's going in the right direction. At this point I'm even considering trading down to a TRX. The size of those drive train parts are impressive, I think.

I'll try Carvana, too, just because. Vroom came back with $79K...which is about 3K less than MSRP for the 'Hawk. And I didn't pay anywhere near that. Hmm. Tempted to sell.

I tried Vroom with the 'Hawk yesterday afternoon, but nothing yet. Other than a few emails from them about me buying a car from them. Not exactly my goal.

They're much less than a 'Hawk, but there's undoubtedly still a profit to be made. Either way, when it comes to losing the dealership status, if there aren't enough sales, selling at a loss can be an appealing way. And I've benefited from that. Although, it seems I have referred enough people...
