What car would ever make you ever consider trading in the Hellcat?

Yes, "practical" is the word I should've used in my post.

What car would ever make you ever consider trading in the Hellcat?

That's part of the beauty of the Challenger, I think. It doesn't look expensive or exotic (and isn't), but still kicks butt. Frankly, I wouldn't want a Veyron. I can drive my Challenger in more places, much more under the radar, and not have to worry nearly as much about what might happen to it.

What car would ever make you ever consider trading in the Hellcat?

True, you should know your cars. A stock 911 Turbo S beats a Hellcat in 0-60, which seems common on the street. And a debadged (by delete option) one could easily fool many. And as usual, the more stickers and badges, the lesser the vehicle usually is.

    Uconnect 18.43.01 OTA Update

I did. But it's much quicker and easier to cover the antennae than to mess around with stuff under the dash. Not that it should matter since none of the vehicles have functional nav, but at least it should stop the emails about how everything is just fine (with the Challenger), even though they...

Dodge Put the Wrong Wheels on 173 New Challengers and Chargers

Yeah, I'd get a wide body if the fenders looked like that.

    Uconnect 18.43.01 OTA Update

Got a call from Uconnect the other day. It was about how I'd (probably) drive into a lake and die if the nav wasn't updated. Then it got interesting. I told the lady that I'd never tried using the nav on my '14 Ram 1500, and never paid for it. If it even has that option. Also that my '17 Ram...

Dodge Put the Wrong Wheels on 173 New Challengers and Chargers

Hey, at least it doesn't have the splitter protectors still on it. Or a splitter, for that matter.

What car would ever make you ever consider trading in the Hellcat?

Also, the Porsche Agate Gray is darn near identical to our Granite, both of which really helps with the stealth factor.

What is your favorite tire brand?

He, he, she knows better than to believe a dealer. Much better.

What is your favorite tire brand?

There's no real reason to fill any car tire with nitrogen, so don't worry about it. The one thing that can be claimed is that nitrogen escapes the tire liner less/slower as the molecules are larger, but since air is 70% nitrogen anyway, you end up with nitrogen filled tires eventually, whether...

What car would ever make you ever consider trading in the Hellcat?

On average, I probably see one cop per 100 miles around here. And somewhat frequently we're both going over a hundred, just in opposite directions. It's a cat and mouse game I don't really mind, and apparently they don't either. As long as I have my Valentine Ones, that is.

What car would ever make you ever consider trading in the Hellcat?

Realistically, I should probably start looking for something that doesn't require a drivers license to operate. It's really only a matter of time before I get caught doing triple digits on the 55 mph roads around here.

What car would ever make you ever consider trading in the Hellcat?

Darn it. I may have to get something more powerful, whether I want to or not. My girlfriend just informed me that the new 911 Turbo S will have 641 hp. That means she'll order one, and I'll be first loser again...except, maybe, in top speed. I haven't kept track of what's coming from Dodge. Is...

What else is in your garage

Good point. I'll remove the rear bumperettes and try.

What else is in your garage

Well, here's your chance to get one for cheap. It's already on a trailer destined for CA, but won't leave until Sunday, or so. Won't quite fit in a Challenger's trunk, though.

    Bugeye, meet Redeye.

    The Official "I ordered" thread

I probably had it as good as it gets in CA, living in an area with nothing but twisty canyon roads to go play on. And one of these days I might trailer the Challenger back there to relive things a bit. But it'll have to be a day when all the bicyclists that took over the roads are on strike for...

    The Official "I ordered" thread

Thanks, but no thanks, Demon1. If I wanted 91 degrees I'd go back to CA. At least the humidity would be lower there. And if I were in CA and wanted it warmer yet, it'd be a short drive to the nearest fire. These days I largely stop functioning at 80 degrees, but the cold doesn't seem to bother...

    The Official "I ordered" thread

It got down to zero last night, but the skies are blue and roads are dry, so the driving season isn't over yet. Getting the Redeye out for a photo opportunity I should've taken a long time ago; Redeye next to Bugeye. Then the Bugeye goes on a trailer destined for CA, to be sold, so today is my...

    The Official "I ordered" thread

Generally on the ground. At least around here.
