It's doesn't fit the description since it's not a pickup, but it is a regular cab. Unless the sleeper counts, but it can easily be removed.
Simplicity? Well absolutely nothing is automated in any way. Crank windows, stick shift (of course), and even the air powered windshield wipers are...
Today the almighty Uconnect monster reared its ugly head when I drove my Ram 1500 some 100 feet, from the carport to the garage.
It wanted to schedule a time when I wouldn't be driving for a while. Okay, since the screen wouldn't disappear and I'd be busy installing better fog lights, I let the...
I wouldn't have ordered stripes, but that car was off the lot. And over time I've started liking them, because they are so subtle. Kind of like ghost flames.
Along the same lines, I try to have my car not stand out. Getting Granite was part of that. Debadging was another.
In my mind, the more...
My dealer said that my ordered car would arrive in 4-6 weeks. It has been seven weeks now and FCA chat tells me it could be several more days!
I can't believe a car that costs so much isn't already delivered. Help, what should I do?!?
Which reminds me...I have a set of black stripes still in the box, meant to go on the '19.
Doesn't look like it's going to happen (long story), so if interested, please PM me.
Having overdosed on crew cabs over the years, when my '17 3500 cab and chassis didn't run right, I ordered an '18 regular cab.
Sure enough, on the way to get the '18, the '17 started running better. Put about 1,000 miles on the regular cab before selling it to a friend. And I do miss it at times.
The clock in my Hellcat is one hour off after daylight savings ended.
Does that mean I have to pull over for an hour and wait for the automatic headlights to come on?
Thanks for the OE tire info, I'll read up on those. My concern with run flats is the extra unsprung and rotating mass. When I managed to lose 10 lbs. per corner on my Golf R (and it didn't even have run flats, just overly large diameter wheels) it was definitely a noticeable improvement in...
Thanks, Tannehill, that's encouraging.
It'll come with the "all-terrains", but since I don't know what tire it is I don't know how good, bad, or indifferent it may be. I'm looking at getting narrower wheels and tires for winter use, just in case.
It's the slush that can be an issue for me when...
Umm, I don't. But I recently ordered one.
Why? Largely because 700+ hp vehicles are addictive, but also because it'll be a practical car for me.
It'll replace my Ram 1500 (with a camper shell) for a couple of years. At least that's the plan.
That 1500 is my all-weather mobile/El Camino, but...
