I dunno. This one seems unusually gifted when it comes to making things worse.
Or maybe it was the loggers that lobbied for cutting down trees to print more money, and the evil oil companies that shut down the pipeline?
Okay, in all fairness, it probably wasn't the president, but his...
Crap. Only 40 over, that would force me to slow down quite a bit.
But worse yet would be the 3-lane part. Here the passing lanes on our 2-lane roads are few and far in between.
I'm still a bit hesitant about giving up the warranty.
Then again, warranty means very little when having to run off the road to avoid a collision.
Guess I should get in touch with Jon.
Exactly! And that's why my 'Cat is safer on the roads around here than anything else I own.
And also why I hate the 118 mph limiter in the TRX. It sucks having to look down on the speedo to make sure I stay at 117 or less while the approaching vehicle is getting closer and closer.
And here I shamed my girlfriend into buying a Redeye, after pointing out that those are quicker in the 1/4 than her 911 Turbo S.
Actually, it may even have been that my regular pedestrian 'Cat was quicker. But she wanted to up me and got the Redeye.
So, $80K and change to beat a $200++K car...
I dunno. As I recall, my girlfriend's Porsche was about three years old, and she got over $200K when recently trading it in. It did have low mileage, though.
Unless you mean a Boxter or Cayman, but those aren't exactly bad ass.
To me it's mostly to be able to break things in correctly. I like quiet drive trains, and while it's not brain surgery to change ring and pinions, it's not exactly fun either.
But still better than taking an innocent vehicle to a dealer to be worked on.
I don't see how that matters when you have a 32' to 38' trailer behind it anyway.
And why on earth would you want to voluntarily drive into any kind of city in the first place??
Somewhat related, I just committed to an Audi Q5.
It'll be an 800 mile round trip, but I finally got a decent trade-in offer for the '21 GT AWD with 789 miles on it.
I know, I know, it's a 2-door turning into a taxi, but I can't load a pallet in the back of the Challenger.
