18x6 Racestars with 28" tall M/T radials are good for 150+MPH. This is one more reason I chose the heavier tires for my drag pack. HCs need something designed to fit over the front brakes. If I blow a rear tire I swap the front to rear and put the skinny up front. Easy peasy.
