The only authorized seller is Dusterhoff tuning. I bought mine through HHP which then drop ships from Dusterhoff. Please reference the chart here:

Cost is as per HHP's site.

I wonder if switching to this using gears from a whiney rear could result in a quieter rear?? I have a used diff I’d try it on.

I have zero wheel hop after locking out cradle and going auto. I’m convinced 75% of it was the cradle moving side to side forward/back and running a stiff radial tire when should have ran a soft bias ply to absorb the shock of a clutch dump

I just posted a question on HHP’s website on this item asking if it helps prevent or quench wheel hop . Anyone know the answer?
The answer doesn't lie with HHP but with Wavetrac themselves.

In the above video the builder explains how the wavehub transfers wheel hop/spin via ramping up to a bias steel bias plate immediately.

Ok
, that justifies the cost of the “install kit”. Thanks for sharing this, would have never known

Okay so let diffapalooza begin. I have tons of video on teardown and will be posting them soon. However was disappointed in the diff that blew up at MIR could not be a candidate.

1. Take all bolts out AFTER draining the diff. Smack with mallet on ear and the cover will come right off.
IMG_8845.png
2. Take out snap ring after removing rubber seals, discard seals and get new ones.
IMG_8831.jpeg
3. remove shims from left and right side. Carrier will shift as roller bearing and housing will separate.
IMG_8832.jpeg
4. remove carrier and place ring face down. Use an impact and a 19mm impact s
IMG_8846.png
5. Clean bolts, bearing caps, snap ring and shims. You will not reuse bearing caps, and shims as new ones come in the kit.
IMG_8844.jpeg
i took as many photos of serial numbers just in case someone wants to try and source parts
IMG_8843.jpeg IMG_8842.jpeg IMG_8840.jpeg IMG_8829.jpeg IMG_8829.jpeg IMG_8835.jpeg
was really bummed that the rear bearing has shrapnel in it I can’t clean out. Stay tuned.

Weak design imo. i can see how the shafts between the spider gears make contact. The other internals are going to be meticulously cleaned and then 3d scanned. IMG_8859.jpeg IMG_8858.jpeg IMG_8857.jpeg IMG_8856.jpeg

Pardon my ignorance - so these ZF diffs are not a friction clutch style design?

They are, here is the heap of garbage from ZF:
IMG_8860.jpeg
there was zero friction material on the clutches and the steels were scortched. This was a demon diff too. Wavetrac or bust. Once I get done with the teardown I will be doing 3d scanning of the hard parts and working with a well known clutch manufacturer to make clutches with better material. I however will no longer be running ZF materials. They are garbage.

3D scan the ring and pinion too
