Durango Hellcat or Challenger Hellcat for the Street?

No, I have one SUV, the Durango. My Suburban couldn't count since the term SUV wasn't invented yet. And I have one truck, sort of, the 3500. I say sort of because it's only a truck when I have the (easily removable) flatbed on it. As the door sticker says, it's really an incomplete vehicle. Of...

Durango Hellcat or Challenger Hellcat for the Street?

Actually, I'm impressed that you didn't use Wikipedia. Or You Tube.

Durango Hellcat or Challenger Hellcat for the Street?

So the Durango has a frame?? I have photos of its undercarriage to prove you wrong. Also, far from all SUVs are classified or registered as trucks.

    Changes through the Years.

I have to agree. See one quite frequently since our 'Cats are parked side by side, but when my girlfriend offered me her Redeye I declined. She luckily came to her senses and decided to keep it instead of giving it to me, or a hood change would've been essential. Actually, I would've kept my...

Future Ford Cars Could Get Geofencing Restriction

I thought Furds always had built in geo fencing, and that's why they stop all by themselves all the time..

GM Says Selling EVs Even At $30K Is A Hard Sell

Close, but not quite. There is a gas station quite close to here, but I wouldn't even fill up your Challenger there.

GM Says Selling EVs Even At $30K Is A Hard Sell

Easily? Should I start asking around how many stations would be willing to switch one of their pumps over to E85? And if I admit that it would be for one vehicle, I really think I know the answer. Hell, I couldn't even get ethanol free 91 octane delivered here (I buy fuel in bulk) since the...

GM Says Selling EVs Even At $30K Is A Hard Sell

No, never claimed that. Although a larger tank would be great. An E85 version would be, though, since there aren't any stations with that stuff around here. But it would definitely be nicer to sit in a Hellcat and wait for help than in an EV.

GM Says Selling EVs Even At $30K Is A Hard Sell

I know, but brought the 3500 up as an example of the distances I wan't to be able to drive, and the scarcity of gas stations. So, if the Hellcat would've survived in E85 form, it'd basically be useless to me.

GM Says Selling EVs Even At $30K Is A Hard Sell

Unholy, I'm not going to let your PMS ruin my day, but there are no EV chargers here. Or stations with E85. Those 200 miles would not work for me, anymore than an EV would. Actually, the one thing I really don't like about my 'Cat is its minuscule gas tank. It'd be a great long distance car, I...

    FS '23 Durango Hellcat

So start sending me the money instead and it'll be yours soon. Although, we'd have to make some sort of arrangement since I really want to free up the garage space.

Another Year, Another thread on Winter storage. Please post up, what do you do and what do you use. IE Batteries, Fluids, Cover, you know the rest!

The fluids will be just fine even if it sits for six months. And better than if you drive it every two weeks without getting them up to temp.

You still have seals there? I figured that the alligators and pythons had eliminated those by now.

Looks like I got 16 bonus hp. Don't really need them, though, since I'm not dragging four dually fenders around.

Same as in my case then, but that won't matter when on the road and the oil cooler starts doing its thing...a bit too efficiently. I'll put a cover in front of mine this winter.

    FS '23 Durango Hellcat

Alright, drag racer, it's time. You'd be the owner of the lowest priced Durango Hellcat Plus ever. But don't procrastinate. I don't want to haul it when there's salt on the roads.

Why not? The tricky part is to get the oil up to temp when it's cold out I've noticed. At least on the open road. This is where stop and go traffic seems to help, but we don't have any of that. Thankfully.

Durango Hellcat or Challenger Hellcat for the Street?

No, sure don't. Cars you put things in. Like a Challenger or Durango, railroad cars, etc. Just like vans. Trucks you put things on. That's why they come with a bed of some sort, or just a little shelf, like a hand truck (aka dolly). Not that those simple facts keep the authorities from wanting...

Durango Hellcat or Challenger Hellcat for the Street?

Umm, does the Durango come with a pickup bed now?? If not, they're both cars.

Durango Hellcat or Challenger Hellcat for the Street?

It wouldn't surprise me if an older air cooled 911 would beat a Hellcat through an intersection. Especially if it's cold.
