What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Ah, it's the opposite here. Hard water from the hose (water spots) and perfectly soft and clean water from the sky.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Meanwhile, mine gets clean when it rains. No water spots, no alligators, life is good. Wish we got some more rain, though, even if it's too late to save the grass. But that's temperature related.

Two feet?? They would be devastated with two inches of snow. Red Cross would have to come help them out.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Hey, the gravy train is fully loaded. If you can't get your money now you'll never see it. And with high interest rates, this really is a good time.

    TRX Ram with I6 Hurricane

It's a good thing that nothing else has gone up by 20-some percent in the past few years.

It's a simple procedure, really. Change the oil, put some Star Tron in the tank, park it, hook up the BatteryMINDer as usual, and call it good.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

That may not be his castle, just his garage.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Yep, OE stands for original equipment, like your thermostat. A part that came stock on your vehicle. Then there's OEM, which is the manufacturer of the OE part. So one is a part, one is a factory of some sort. Which would you rather install on your vehicle? Jeez, Eric, does it take a furriner...

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Wouldn't that be an OE (thermostat) in English? After all, it's a part, not a manufacturer, right?

    2021 Hellcat Purchase

I obviously also have vehicles with many more miles on them, and even the older ones have never been subjected to dealer service. Like GNBRETT, a dealer would be about the last place I took anything of mine. That includes for recalls. Either I fix whatever needs to be done myself (paying for...

My New 2023 F150 Rear Diff Was Half Full!?!?!??!

His world includes Furds. Sorry, I can't relate to it.

My New 2023 F150 Rear Diff Was Half Full!?!?!??!

Here I thought that intellectuals don't speak these days. They're busy walking around holding signs at mostly peaceful gatherings.

    2021 Hellcat Purchase

Yeah, I know of one with 18 miles on it. No service records whatsoever, though.

My New 2023 F150 Rear Diff Was Half Full!?!?!??!

Alright, looks like the Votex P/N for the diff is DP009. At least that's what I have the most empty bags of. And don't forget that there are other sources. You could always Google "Google", and once on Google you'll find several.

My New 2023 F150 Rear Diff Was Half Full!?!?!??!

But of course, this thread is about an F-150 after all. Don't worry, I'll clean a spoon off and go to the garage tomorrow morning, get the part number (for one brand), so I can feed it to you.

My New 2023 F150 Rear Diff Was Half Full!?!?!??!

That would depend on which manufacturer you decide to go with, and for what vehicle. There are several to pick from. For the FCA/Stellantis vehicles I use mostly Votex.

My New 2023 F150 Rear Diff Was Half Full!?!?!??!

Believe it or not, but it takes a lot less time to check and fill up fluids as needed than to deal with the potential consequences. Plus, I hate noisy gear sets. Not that setting up new gears is rocket science, but it's not all that fun either. Still kicking myself for not changing the fluid in...

My New 2023 F150 Rear Diff Was Half Full!?!?!??!

People sometimes give me crap for not driving a new (or new to me) vehicle until I've checked all fluid levels and that all fasteners are tight, or at least present. I pick the vehicle up, then it goes directly from the trailer to the lift. As I'm checking, magnetic level plugs go into...
