    Anyone see this?

Having driven Aston Martins with stationary shifter paddles, I'd say be careful what you ask for. I much prefer that they turn with the 'wheel. There are a few switchbacks around here sharp enough that my speed through them is basically limited by how quickly I can turn the 'wheel (if the car...

    Anyone see this?

Yeah, in theory those would work...if at stop lights, on straight enough roads, etc. In my mind those steering wheel buttons are a very poor substitute for a knob I should be able to use, without taking my eyes off the road. Just like how it works in the Challenger. I learned to hate those...

    Anyone see this?

I'm almost willing to subject my 'Hawk to dealer treatment IF it means that they can fix another issue with the damn screen in the process. I only see the backup camera as an irritant (as long as it goes away as it should), but what I really dislike is that with the performance pages (namely...

I'm waiting for one helluva rain storm to drive through.

Umm, please don't tell anyone, but except for two new ones on the windshield, those are last year's bugs.

    Empty highways...check...tons of HP...check...social "distancing"...check

Two things that just sunk in about the above drive: There was only one (count'em, one) stop sign along the way. Obviously no traffic lights. Also, it was more ecofriendly than usual. Since I only passed four vehicles there were fewer WOT bursts than normal, so according to the Lie-O-Meter the...

    Empty highways...check...tons of HP...check...social "distancing"...check

Nice drive! Met seven cars in the first 65 miles, but then it got a bit crowded once on a major road. From then on it probably averaged a vehicle per mile, and it was mostly trucks. That first part was a bit unnerving at times. The pavement has deteriorated in places, which when you're already...

I'll be going on a just-for-the-hell-of-it drive tomorrow or Tuesday. Probably for the first time in decades. Found some neat twisty roads nearby on the map that I haven't driven yet. It's probably a 250-mile loop, and I'll be surprised if I see more than 20 vehicles.

The Hellcat-Powered Ram Rebel TRX Will Reportedly Have Over 700 HP

Uh, oh. Sounds like I've been upsetting the ecosystem in the past several days, using a fair amount of diesel and gas to disc and harrow. In other words, I've surely been eliminating some of the grass (and a few weeds, and maybe prairie dogs) in the process.

Couldn't help noticing that, by default, you don't like looking at Chargers.

Okay, to get away from pavement, and Challenger/Chargers, now for something completely different. It's a '20 Trackhawk, stock as can be. Four miles on the odometer when the photo was taken. And yes, the second photo is worthless, but it had to be included according to Hunter's rules. Both pics...

    The Official "I ordered" thread

Oh, that's easy:SRT. Or better. LED headlights? Doesn't matter what headlights you have if driving fast enough. The closer to the speed of light you get, the brighter they'll be.

Close, CPRHD SRT. Mine's Velvet Red. Kinda in honor of DGatzby, I guess, and still somewhat subtle. Well, at least when the sun isn't shining on it. Go for it. We only live once. And speaking of fuel prices, I'll be ordering another 1,500 or so gallons of diesel here, soon.

Thanks! Yes, it is a nice color combination, but that one's my girlfriend's, not mine. She's not able to fully enjoy it quite yet, having just surpassed 100 miles with short trips. That should be it for the gears, but another 400 to go. I'm pleasantly surprised with the mileage of mine...

Oh, don't get me wrong. I love driving in snow. It's so much easier to go sideways and have fun. It's just that this might have been the first time I had to use 4WD to do it, on a public road.

    New Viper and Hellcat??

Maybe it's too simple, but we call ours "Challenger", or occasionally "Dodge". That's not because we have anything against the Hellcat or Redeye, or even Demon, names. It's simply because they are Challengers.

    The Official "I ordered" thread

That was a bad pun, Hunter. Besides, it was much cooler on the way there, in the early morning. Actually, for probably the first time ever, I had to use 4WD on a regular road. It wasn't overly steep, maybe 8-10%, but it was shiny ice covered with snow (okay, I didn't know about the ice yet), so...

There's always the 6,423 cc engine.

    Thinking about getting a 2020 911S 2WD

Thanks, but not quite yet. I'll wait until she has a few more fun cars. Then they'll automatically become mine, too, right? Okay, I know it doesn't quite work that way, but I can dream. Anyway, she now has two Agate Gray and two Granite ones. I see a pattern here.
