What car did you dislike the most?

Not sure what I've been doing wrong, but after having had maybe 200 cars, I can't recall a single one that I disliked. It may have to do with that I never bought one that I didn't like. Even the numerous $50 winter beater cars grew on me, to the point that it was sad to take them to the junk...

    Lift Types—Help Me Decide

Yep, a basic 4-post would be my choice, too. Mine could even be moved around with the included wheels, if for some reason I wanted to.

Can the Ram 1500 TRX Still Be Cool Without 702 HP? We Think So

No, there's nothing from the factory. Guess they go for max articulation over road manners. Seems like the very softly sprung TRX squats on the right rear when stomping on it, then the torque steer from the front makes it wiggle a bit. In my case, I'm mostly trying to induce a bit of over...

Can the Ram 1500 TRX Still Be Cool Without 702 HP? We Think So

Do you know for a fact that they will reach 60 mph?

Can the Ram 1500 TRX Still Be Cool Without 702 HP? We Think So

I'm gonna have to run mine against my girlfriend's and see how it does. Put a rear sway bar on hers as she complained about it getting a bit squiggly when pushing the skinny pedal. That's something I really haven't noticed on mine. Have the bar ready to go on, but want more of a baseline first.

Can the Ram 1500 TRX Still Be Cool Without 702 HP? We Think So

Guess I should check if mine is stuck in valet mode. It does have some other electronic-related misbehavior going on.

Can the Ram 1500 TRX Still Be Cool Without 702 HP? We Think So

It's not slow, for a factory pickup. And until I get narrower tires on mine, to help with lateral stability, it'll likely stay under 105 or so. For now, 85-95 seems to be what it likes. And yes, just the other day i was thinking that 797 hp would probably be just about right...if the drive...

There, I fixed it for you, Magnified.

Can the Ram 1500 TRX Still Be Cool Without 702 HP? We Think So

Hey, it beat out the Gladiator Ecodiesel (3rd place) in Four Wheeler of the year. And a regular Gladiator, and a GMC V6, and a Nissan. That's not saying much.

Can the Ram 1500 TRX Still Be Cool Without 702 HP? We Think So

Well, yeah, it probably wouldn't make much sense on an Ecodiesel forum. And should I also point out that it rides and handles like a marshmallow? Maybe not compared to an English double decker, or a 3/4-ton with a camper on it, but still.

Can the Ram 1500 TRX Still Be Cool Without 702 HP? We Think So

Looks like I'm safe. They don't make any kind of Gen 5 1500 in a 2-door.

Can the Ram 1500 TRX Still Be Cool Without 702 HP? We Think So

I hope they don't make even a normal height 2-door. If so, it'd be hard to resist. And I really don't want to end up with as many vehicles as you have.

    200 MPH Club Taxi

A single seat taxi? They're on the right track. Now eliminate two doors.

Can the Ram 1500 TRX Still Be Cool Without 702 HP? We Think So

Yeah, that's what I'd like it for, too. I'm sure that if coming from a normal 1500, the TRX feels great. But at least I expected it to be a bit of a slug after having experienced what extra weight does to the performance with the Trackhawk. I knew that even more weight wouldn't exactly perk...

Can the Ram 1500 TRX Still Be Cool Without 702 HP? We Think So

I sure wouldn't have bought a TRX if it didn't have the 6.2. As it is, it could use another 100 hp to make it run more like a 'Cat, or at least a Trackhawk. Now, if I still lived in CA and had to deal with the roads there, maybe 14 inches of suspension travel would be a good thing. And even a...

Hennessey announces Ram 1500 TRX six-wheel conversion

But BULL, it's only money. A lot of it, but still.

Hennessey announces Ram 1500 TRX six-wheel conversion

That's the one redeeming factor with the TRX's dinky little bed...at least the wheel well doesn't encroach on the rear door, like on some Jap pickups. I probably don't care for that look as it's somewhat like the rear doors on a Charger.

Hennessey announces Ram 1500 TRX six-wheel conversion

Because a TRX is quite heavy, and consequently not particularly quick or nimble. The obvious solution is to add more weight.

Dodge Challengers, Chargers to Get New / Retrofitted Theft Protection

If this gets worse, I'll start locking mine. But thankfully, unlike ChargerChallenger, I won't have to worry about the taxi union wanting a 2-door.
