    Daily driver woes

I try. Step one: Stay away from Furd products.

Is there a Ford vaccine 😳 yikes I have a uhm well yeh never mind 😁

You're assuming that he wants her to get to school. Okay, so maybe the tow truck driver could bully her, but probably not. After all he makes a good living on moving Furds around.

My condolences. Unless two wrongs make a right. Which seems to be popular these days.

Anyone know a good Cadillac dealer

If they say "Come in and we'll talk about it", hang up and call the next dealer on your list. If you ask how much will this vehicle with an MSRP of $XX,XXX cost me? and they meet or beat that, keep talking.

Anyone know a good Cadillac dealer

I have bought several vehicles, and sold a few, on line. I think the last time we went to a dealership to buy was the girlfriend's '12 Ram. Come to think of it, that was many vehicles ago.

    6-passenger (front bench) TRX

I did put one on mine. But not for that reason.

    6-passenger (front bench) TRX

Since it's only some wiring to deal with, you could put that rotary shifter just about anywhere you want. I looked into it a bit when having a basic 1500, and almost desperate to get rid of that damn knob. At the time, using a Jeep console shifter seemed to be the easiest, and I would've...

    6-passenger (front bench) TRX

A bench seat from a '19-up 1500 should bolt right in, I'd think. For the shifter you'd have to make something up. Probably easiest to use one of those dreaded rotary shifters.

    Lift Types—Help Me Decide

Thankfully, vehicles are a hobby for me these days. So my repairs don't have to be efficient, just very good. Besides, I do mostly maintenance - that way there's not much need for repairs.

Any repairs in particular that require a 2-post? I know I do a lot of things wrong, but please don't add too much more to the list.

    Lift Types—Help Me Decide

Maybe it doesn't do it any good, but my cheap 4-post has been outside for some six years now. Says it can't be exposed to weather, but I keep the motor (rain/snow) and the plastic fluid tank (brutal UV) covered. So far so good, even though the paint has indeed faded. And I do spray some lube on...

Well, yeah. There's not exactly a lack of free beer or booze there.

Stumbled into that older version at about 2 AM during SEMA one year. Fully dressed, yet quite revealing, so to speak.

    Lift Types—Help Me Decide

Since I don't own a Biscayne, that's not a problem for me. The 4-post is always available. On the other hand, there's usually a Ram 3500 parked "in" the 2-post. But even if that spot was empty, it's so much quicker to drive up on the 4-post and hit the button than it is to get all four pads on...

Yet I use the 4-post 10 to one compared to the 2-post. Guess I'm just backwards, as usual.

    Or two bottle jacks.

    Lift Types—Help Me Decide

Not really, I think. It's no worse than doing it with the vehicle on the floor...but at a more convenient height.

And the corresponding Dannmar will do it for a bit less money. Same company.

    200 MPH Club Taxi

For one, there's a reason we tend to have two of everything. We rarely go to the same places or together. Also, my first car was a small 2-seater convertible. I removed the passenger seat and put a mattress of sorts and a sleeping bag in its place. That worked out quite well...as long as the...
