What was your first Hellcat mod?

First: Removed the splitter guards, shortly followed by debadging. Then better tires and (I think) nicer wheels. After that, tinted and driven.

Do you apply tire shine after each wash?

Wiping on solves one issue. And if you find one tire manufacturer that isn't against tire goop, I'm willing to change my view on how the goop affects the chemicals built into the tires. A little. Maybe. Actually, not driving on them can kill them faster than driving, as those chemicals won't...

    Enclosed trailer for hellcat

Does anyone know the official breakover angle of a Hellcat? I haven't been able to find it, and don't know if I should trust my own 10 degree measurement. Need to figure out how much the ramp door needs to be raised off the ground for the bottom of the car to clear.

Yellow splitter guard removal 2019 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody

Maybe it didn't have a protector on the right side, and would've been just fine if it had it?

Yellow splitter guard removal 2019 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody

If you helped beautify the world for the cost of a T-shirt, it was well worth it.

    Regular Hellcat or Redeye?

I'm trying to get down to 15, or so, which is why I should sell the Super Seven, Bugeye, and a couple of MGBs. Since I don't get to drive all that much, spreading it between several vehicles makes it worse - to the point that I had to put StaBil in my "daily driver".

    Regular Hellcat or Redeye?

They can be driven slowly?!? Please, don't let my girlfriend know that. Anyway, I won't be looking at any more Challengers, Eric, two is plenty for us. Plus, we're out of garage space now. I need to sell several cars and not just for that reason. But when you do get up here, you can get some...

    Regular Hellcat or Redeye?

Interestingly enough, yesterday I commented on how much quieter the Redeye is than my Hellcat, as my girlfriend came home from shopping. She claims it just purrs, and doesn't need to be loud and obnoxious since it's quicker and faster than mine. I have yet to drive it after it got broken in...

    Race Ramps... a must!

Got started on figuring out which ones I'd need. Meeting the 10% approach angle requirement is easy, but I need to find the breakover angle for a 'Cat so I know how high the ramps must lift the door on the trailer. Then, checking and measuring angles got me completely sidetracked, so now I'm...

    Important Emissions Recall UB4

Can't speak for cell phones, but on my computer there's a smiley face to the right of the "Like" symbol. Hit the smiley and you should get all kinds of options.

    Enclosed trailer for hellcat

Off subject, but hey, we're talking trailers here. I'm awfully tempted to buy a new 30-foot gooseneck, this time with a hydraulic dove tail. Wish I'd got it the first time, since the rest of the trailer would be identical, with disc brakes, air suspension, etc. So, would anyone here be...

    Important Emissions Recall UB4

On this "new and improved" site there actually is one.

    Important Emissions Recall UB4

They are farther behind on sending the notices out than I thought.

    Important Emissions Recall UB4

My pile of ignored recall notices (two Rams and the Challenger) will get thicker yet. Oh well.

    Enclosed trailer for hellcat

I've had nightmares about ending up having to rely on a tow truck. Which is one reason I sometimes carry a full size spare. I only have two enclosed trailers that can accommodate a Challenger, but realistically I could likely use an open one, too, since my 'Cat doesn't get driven in inclement...

    Enclosed trailer for hellcat

Please don't rely on a winch as a front "tie down". I've seen too may failures in the four wheeling world with that kind of setup.

    Enclosed trailer for hellcat

If the angles are shallow enough, yes, I agree. And I sometimes add a "safety chain" to the rear of a vehicle. I just don't know what I'd attach it to on a Challenger. And I'd leave some slack in it.

    Enclosed trailer for hellcat

We can, and I have the sleeves, lasso loops and/or axle straps to do it. Just never used them. What I don't like about that method is that no matter how nice and fuzzy the sleeve is, it can't be good for the paint. With chrome wheels I probably wouldn't mind. But maybe more importantly, while...

    Race Ramps... a must!

I suppose I could build my own and leave them at home. Here weight isn't an issue since I have machinery to lift things with. Then, wherever I'm going, I could most likely use Race Ramps for unloading. That would probably be the least unintelligent solution.

    Race Ramps... a must!

Yeah, using plywood should work, and worth a try. I'd prefer to build my own ramps, the main drawback being the weight of them. With a bad back and knees, and a hernia, I try not to lift any more than I have to, which is why the Race Ramps are tempting.
