Um, there has been numerous threads on the subject over the years on several forums, so no, it merely got stirred up again because someone at Dodge finally had enough. And rightfully so.
Oddly enough, there is still always someone trying to defend leaving them on.
No! I have two sets, but I'm sure as heck not going to sell them or give them to anyone.
With my luck someone would install them on their Challenger, and then I'll either see them in photos or in person.
I have no personal experience since I removed my protectors as soon as I got the car off the trailer. But I've read many accounts of people having scratched splitters once the protectors are removed. Which makes sense to me, especially after seeing all the dirt already underneath mine when...
Why did I post "that nonsense" about the Demon being speed limited? Because I knew about it. Otherwise pointing out that a flexible splitter may work on a Demon wouldn't have made any sense.
Or maybe it doesn't anyway? I thought it did.
Anyway, normally I keep it below 120 or so, and 160 is...

We're friends, and it was worse for him than for us.
Ended up ordering a second one once the initial order was confirmed AWOL, so he got stuck with the original car, in a very small town. I felt sorry for him.
That's good, it must have improved then. I got all kinds of false info from chat, but the dealer had the actual facts.
Not that they were the facts I wanted to hear..
That was about a year ago, and that infamous order was shipped three times according to chat. When the car finally showed up at...
