    The importance of Knock Sensors

Uh, oh. That's not a good reason for them to turn. I'd ask our resident weather guesser to send some rain your way if I were you. We could take a break here.

    The importance of Knock Sensors

Yes, it won't be long until the leaves start turning great colors.

    The importance of Knock Sensors

That much I can get done, since I use the indoor facilities, but painting, welding, etc. is harder/impossible when it rains. Which it has done every afternoon and/or evening lately. But we need it.

    The importance of Knock Sensors

Hey, 10 minutes and 50 seconds isn't bad for a guy your age. Actually, I didn't think you could run at all.

    The importance of Knock Sensors

We both know why. As mentioned above. When cruising along at 95-plus, and not having to swerve for gators, the sound of the engine is all the sound you need.

    The importance of Knock Sensors

Yeah, if I drove a taxi I'd want tunes, too. Can't just listen to the passengers' drivel.

    The importance of Knock Sensors

I'm going to be nice (for a change) and not comment.

In Florida, that means parking in an air conditioned trailer, right? How else could it possibly cool down.

Charger Hellcat vs Lucid Air - just insane.

I accidentally watched part of a race with electric race cars. Turns out that instead of normal pit stops with fueling, tire changes, etc., the driver just hops into a new car. So, if a team has 48 cars, and they don't break down or crash much, it's fully doable to win LeMans with "an" EV.

Tomorrow CA is expected to approve a ban on sales of gas powered vehicles starting 2035

Except, I understand that they're one of your leading imports now. Poor, poor, NYC mayor.

Tomorrow CA is expected to approve a ban on sales of gas powered vehicles starting 2035

Come to think of it, the impact on the grid, for example, won't be nearly as big as it may sound. Same with the amount of charging stations needed. Long before I fled, 12 years ago, I was already a minority in L.A. county, which isn't exactly a farming community. For those who haven't enjoyed...

You sure? Quick maybe, but probably not fast. And definitely not far.

It's all BULL. Oops, maybe I didn't phrase that correctly.

Charger Hellcat vs Lucid Air - just insane.

Acceleration from a standing start means very little to me. But if I'm 250 miles from home and go to pass someone that's doing only 75 on a 2-lane road, I do not want the damn EV to sputter to a halt. Especially if still in the opposing lane. Of course, if I had half a brain I wouldn't venture...

I think this is what we all wanted! The Hemi V8 lives on!

I have a friend who has a tank (the kind with a turret, tracks, etc.) and I bet it feels more stable than my Challenger does.

2024+ Dodge Charger Daytona "Banshee" - eMuscle and the Future

Maybe so, but then there's real life. When I get so old that I think things are getting better, I will no longer drive on public roads.

2024+ Dodge Charger Daytona "Banshee" - eMuscle and the Future

Usually, getting hitched is not temporary. Which is why I'm still single.

2024+ Dodge Charger Daytona "Banshee" - eMuscle and the Future

Didn't they screw up a bit when naming that thing Charger? Discharger would be more appropriate, I think.

Bit of a bummer, is my tire ruined?

Could be to justify having a 4-door?

Had one, never used it, so I sold it about a year ago.
