Does anyone know about plows on 2019+ Ram 1500 DT???

I dunno if it's a world, but yes, there sure are differences. Had three 2500s ('10, '14, and '14) and decided to get a "practical car". Bought a '14 1500, which was the most boring car I've had in recent history. Got a 3500 C&C for towing in '17 and haven't regretted that one bit. Then, in...

Does anyone know about plows on 2019+ Ram 1500 DT???

You'll get maybe a 200 lb. higher payload with a 2500, so they're basically interchangeable in that sense. And whether with standard rear coils or air suspension, they ride nicely. Obviously I was kidding about not towing anything with a 1500, by the way. I wouldn't hesitate to pull a jet ski...

Does anyone know about plows on 2019+ Ram 1500 DT???

You're asking the wrong person when it comes to towing anything with a 1500. Towing is why the 3500/4500/5500 ones exist. My girlfriend had a diesel 2500, but is much happier with her current 3500 longbed gasser. And she only has a 3-horse trailer. Do they even make gooseneck hitches for...

When are the order banks open for a ‘23 Durango?

There's a pristine GT AWD at Audi Salt Lake City, less then 700 miles on it. It'd end up costing less than that SXT, even thought the sticker was $5K higher.

Does anyone know about plows on 2019+ Ram 1500 DT???

Mine has a decal with the actual speeds for each of the eight standard gears, for some reason. Of course, I installed crawler gears to keep the life altering moments to a minimum. I (try to remember to) use 4WD when either lifting something heavy with the loader, or going downhill. You're in...

When are the order banks open for a ‘23 Durango?

Welcome to my world, DGatzby. Whenever I'm looking for a pickup or cab and chassis and they are actually optioned correctly (as in very few options), some dimwit checked the $375 box for the "dial-a-transfer-case". I want the fully functional lever. So, I end up ordering. And by the way, one...

Does anyone know about plows on 2019+ Ram 1500 DT???

Large tractors run on GPS these days, making exact and most efficient passes over the fields.

Does anyone know about plows on 2019+ Ram 1500 DT???

Far from it. It's a basic Kubota M6040. Besides, almost all vehicles and machinery I own has speedometers. At this point, the only one I can think of that doesn't is the skid steer. Then again, it has enough electronics that it wouldn't surprise me if there's a speedo, too, somewhere in the...

I got "deleted" from the Trackhawk portion of that site after calling the China virus the China virus.

Does anyone know about plows on 2019+ Ram 1500 DT???

Well, that's the speed it goes in 3rd gear, low range, when the PTO turns 540 rpm. Which it should be. Knowing that it's 2.37 mph is as easy as looking at the dash.

Does anyone know about plows on 2019+ Ram 1500 DT???

I know, I know, it sounds funny that I listen to the radio in the tractor, huh? Well, in the 'Cat I don't really hear it because of concentrating on driving. When pulling something with the 3500 I can listen to it quite a bit, since that one isn't overly fast, but I don't drive that one often...

Does anyone know about plows on 2019+ Ram 1500 DT???

While I prefer being out in the open, I am so glad I went with a cab. When it gets to 70 degrees I can run the A/C, and obviously the heater is great in the winter. Plus, driving the tractor is one of the few times I get to listen to the radio.

Does anyone know about plows on 2019+ Ram 1500 DT???

I have no real choice there, since mine has a cab. But on the positive side, there's plenty of room for it. 12-foot doors on one side, and 14-footers on the ends, vertical. But the cab is also what makes me really not want to dump it on its side. Surely the glass door will break, and those are...

Does anyone know about plows on 2019+ Ram 1500 DT???

No, it's just for the driveway. And it's really nice not to have any berms along the sides of it. Used to plow the snow five feet past the edge of the driveway, using the tractor with a rear blade that can be offset, but that can get a bit sketchy at times. Dumb luck that I haven't put that...

Does anyone know about plows on 2019+ Ram 1500 DT???

Those 1500s are for sissies. You need something like this. Pure, and free of Inferior Front Suspension.

Does anyone know about plows on 2019+ Ram 1500 DT???

I'm somewhat familiar with the subject, but not with using pickups to do it. I'd keep the Silverado for plow duty. If it has lasted this long, chances are it'll survive a bit longer. No need to keep it registered and insured, right?

Bob, you will have to excuse the taxi crowd. They can be a bit different. Still, many of them are nice, and they're largely harmless.

    Thermostat delete

Maybe, since the humidity tends to be quite high in Florida, both the thermostat and coolant can be eliminated. After all, the ambient temperature there isn't all that much lower than what the engine was designed to run at.
