    Weird vibration at 85 mph

Some Toyos do. Recently got a set of AT IIIs and thought somebody had smeared some of that miserable tire goop on them.

    Weird vibration at 85 mph

Simple solution: Don't go so damn slowly. 85 is for when stuck behind someone and waiting for it to be clear to pass. I have paid for eight gears, so I want to use them all.

    Weird vibration at 85 mph

I would hope that they at least use a Hunter machine with road force balancing. Then, as you pointed out, the machine should be calibrated correctly. And it's quite important that the Smart Weight setting is turned off. Otherwise the tires won't be balanced nearly as well as they could be...

    Merrick Motor Sports TRX lights

Just saw that someone makes stick-on, remote controlled, cab marker lights.

    What good is a EV?

Well, that one's actually quite stingy with fuel, but as delivered (pictured) is was probably set up for Death Valley, not for 7.500 feet. A simple adjustment of the timing of the injection pump and it doesn't smoke at all.

    What good is a EV?

Whadda you mean pollution? Electricity is perfectly clean. And I can make my own with the diesel generator.

POLL - Do you want the EV (MY24+ Dodge Charger Daytona Banshee) offering from Dodge SRT???

Nope, Japanese, and complete with Toyota engines. And you can buy them new if you want.

POLL - Do you want the EV (MY24+ Dodge Charger Daytona Banshee) offering from Dodge SRT???

No, they make vans, too, but those HiJets (Daihatsu) are little dump bed pickups.

POLL - Do you want the EV (MY24+ Dodge Charger Daytona Banshee) offering from Dodge SRT???

These are what I drive the most frequently, within five miles of the house. The Can Am even has A/C for when it goes to over 70 degrees (mine to the left), as does my girlfriend's HiJet (left in the photo). And yes, we have two of several vehicles.

You can still order a TRX.

I ORDERED AN E-TORQUE BY MISTAKE!!! CRAP!!!

Two days?? You should be able to get that done in one day, even if driving both ways.

I ORDERED AN E-TORQUE BY MISTAKE!!! CRAP!!!

Dang. Whoda thunk that of all things it would be the eTorque system that leads to the world's collapse?

I ORDERED AN E-TORQUE BY MISTAKE!!! CRAP!!!

Using AlfaOBD would be one simple way. If they have that function already.

You better hang on to those parts. They're getting quite sought after now that the EPA is swooping in on deleted diesels.

I ORDERED AN E-TORQUE BY MISTAKE!!! CRAP!!!

Unfortunately, the J2807 tests aren't exactly real life. Not surprisingly, Ram is happy to brag about those numbers, no matter how unrealistic they may be.

I ORDERED AN E-TORQUE BY MISTAKE!!! CRAP!!!

Hmm, 1500 and towing capacity? Sorry, doesn't compute. Well, unless you actually believe the J2807 numbers.

    Who didn't see this coming

While making any changes, yes, but the cable doesn't have to stay there. Actually, for security reasons it shouldn't. By the way, I remembered wrong. It's '18 and up that needs them.

    Who didn't see this coming

Hmm. As I understand it, anything after '18 needs that security bypass to be able to change things around in the computers. But once that's done, there should be no reason to leave it in place. My only experience so far with AlfaOBD is with the '17 3500, which doesn't need the cable. And if I...

    Who didn't see this coming

No, not yet. So far (and it's been a while) I've been trying to find out if there's one cable that could be used in more than one vehicle. Although, having sold the Trackhawk and the other Challenger, at this point the cable would really only have to function in the TRX.
