What did you do to your Hellcat today?

I can relate to the 'Cat not being started, but thankfully not to have lost the trust in it. When that has happened with other vehicles they were sold somewhat soon afterwards. Sure hope that won't be the case with your car. And speaking of tires, a while back I ordered a new set of Indy 500s...

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

I also noticed that loose fastener, just like Bowtie did, but took for granted that you knew about it being in your photo of your car. Can't see the forest for the trees?

EV's are a dud: "GM Expanding Production of Gas-Powered Vehicles"

Nope. At least I can't recall seeing or hearing about elk. Lots of moose around, though. And some deer.

Thermostat gone bad??? Update: YES! Fixed!

Sorry, guess I remembered wrong. Your name came to mind when thinking thermostats, for some reason.

Thermostat gone bad??? Update: YES! Fixed!

I recall, DGatzby knows which ones don't work.

Thermostat gone bad??? Update: YES! Fixed!

I dunno, haven't driven it since. Either way, it's bone stock, including the thermostat.

Thermostat gone bad??? Update: YES! Fixed!

Closest to that I've seen is with the V6 Challenger. It seems to vary (somewhat rapidly) between 190-something and 206. Back and forth, back and forth. Don't think the fan comes on, though. And last time I drove it was when it was unusually warm, maybe 85, and then it didn't do it. Maybe the...

EV's are a dud: "GM Expanding Production of Gas-Powered Vehicles"

Since it's past the statute of limitations I can admit to not waiting until I had a license. Only cheated by a couple of three years, though, and occasionally.

EV's are a dud: "GM Expanding Production of Gas-Powered Vehicles"

No, no, no, and no. Even if there were Ubers here (or one), I'd rather drive one of the tractors or backhoes. And yes, the front yard regrettably contains a Crew Cat these days, but she doesn't have a chauffeur's license. Apparently it's not a requirement when buying a taxi.

EV's are a dud: "GM Expanding Production of Gas-Powered Vehicles"

Are you sure? I bet I couldn't get an Uber here. On the other hand, I have functional vehicles and like to drive, so that's perfectly fine with me. Also, we do have a train, sort of. It's a seasonal narrow gauge that basically follows one of my favorite twisty roads. Guess which alternative I...

    Congratulations July 2025 winner 2ndAmend

Congratulations! I bet that submitting two vehicles helped. If nothing else to change the rules.

EV's are a dud: "GM Expanding Production of Gas-Powered Vehicles"

That was probably the thought behind a small business near here installing one, but emergency or not, since it's not hooked up to the grid its existence is irrelevant.

EV's are a dud: "GM Expanding Production of Gas-Powered Vehicles"

Possibly, but for now USPS is clearly in the lead in the stopping department. Ordered a rare part for the RePete's brakes on eBay. It started in central Texas, went to some small town in Arizona, then an even smaller town in Arizona, and finally to Albuquerque where it has been for two days now...

EV's are a dud: "GM Expanding Production of Gas-Powered Vehicles"

I used to see the occasional EV around here, either on the side of the road or on a rollback, but it seems like word has gotten out and they don't come up here anymore.

EV's are a dud: "GM Expanding Production of Gas-Powered Vehicles"

EVs would work about as well as taking the bus for us. No, there are no bus routes around here, or EV chargers. Most of my driving is when towing something. Could be as little as 8,000 lbs, or up to 25,000. Recently added a 46 gallon auxiliary tank to my Ram 3500's stock 74 gallon capacity...
