Received two new PS4S’s for the front today. They are made in the USA! Good for Michelin.
Did you tighten this up

I went out for breakfast Sunday
On my way the radio changed stations by itself
I m like WTF
Then it was fine after 3 minutes

For the first time I locked my car while I was inside eating ( you guys have me paranoid )
After I was done with my breakfast feed bag I went outside & unlocked the door with my key
Bam the alarm goes off
SOB shut the F up car its 9am

I started the car again and the screen was asking if I want to reset the time
I hit cancel / no / yes 25 times & then just ignored it before I punched it
I m like ah phack my battery is going
After 10 minutes of driving it was good again
I was afraid to shut it off & restart it at the groceries store so I went straight home
As luck would have it
As I backed it in the garage it started raining pretty good

Then I thought

This is really getting interesting. I still have not even started the car since finding these items! I need to have a good look at this because it was returned to a dealer that will never see it again because an idiot screwed up the sensor wiring on that side when changing the springs. I see that we may not be done with that SOB and the feedback etc to them. I have not gone out there yet but the retainer clip also looks open.

Tire Rack. I believe they were in the warehouse here in Roseville, MN.

I also noticed that loose fastener, just like Bowtie did, but took for granted that you knew about it being in your photo of your car. Can't see the forest for the trees?

Was not looking for shit like that when looking at big suspension items, flung grease on things and a SOB seeping axle that may also need some attention soon. That is why my comfort level did not rise to being able to track that thing last Saturday. That is why the thing has not been started since last Friday night, I lost my trust in it. You can bet these old eyes and hands are going to be going over all connectors etc. under that thing especially the items that were disturbed by the retard that changed the springs the first time this year. The QJ did not come out until last week. I was still working until then. Pay attention, you guys got the first pic after I was pretty miffed and disgusted about just finding a seep of grease in addition to a few other items. But now it gets a 100% look over by me and at least one more guy who gets to take some of that apart again and put it back together. Then two of us are going to look at everything again during the alignment check.

Thanks @Bowtie Guy, I have to be in the top six for tire purchases since 2015, I think I have owned about every size tire that can fit our cars. In the garage now with the three different sets, I have the 305’s on 11”, 325 on a 12”, 345 on a 12”, 335 on a 12” and today adding a 315 on an 11” diameter wheel.

I can relate to the 'Cat not being started, but thankfully not to have lost the trust in it. When that has happened with other vehicles they were sold somewhat soon afterwards. Sure hope that won't be the case with your car.

And speaking of tires, a while back I ordered a new set of Indy 500s for mine, only to find out that they were far from new, having a mid '23 date code. Called Tire Rack and was told that tires are still good at up to 10 years old...if they had been stored for the first four.

Asked the lady if she'd be comfortable with doing 160 mph on 10 year old tires (she didn't answer) and then why I couldn't just keep driving on my 6+ years old tires. Ended up sending them back, So that's why mine hasn't been started in a while.

We need to send that hardly used old set on the car off in proper style with a massive burnout!!! I wanna see it from ABQ! ;)

That thought has certainly crossed my mind. And for twice the pleasure I could then put the fronts on the rear and finish off all four in style.

Since I still have the OE tires and wheels, which have been properly stored, I could drive on those until '28. Well, according to Tire Rack I could. Tire experts and myself disagree, however. Hell, Discount Tire (Tire Rack's parent company) won't even mount tires that are six years old.

Tire rack seems to have a lot of old stock

It sure looks like it does. Guess those Firestones were $110 off for a reason.

Later a salesman recommended that I call every two weeks or so and find out if they got a new batch in.

Maybe time to disconnect the battery and give it a reboot!
