AWD setting in the Performance Pages - anyone mess with the 50/50 spit setting? (outside of when driving in snow or mud)

What are you hoping to achieve by running at 50/50? Unless you have a fairly heavy winch or something hanging off the front I can't see how it could improve anything.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Then I'd be tempted to run with shorter springs. Looking at that side shot above made me think about how much air ends up under the car.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Would you be allowed to lower the front by half an inch or so, or does it have to be completely stock?

AWD setting in the Performance Pages - anyone mess with the 50/50 spit setting? (outside of when driving in snow or mud)

I tried that, but then the wipers and a few other things stopped working. Also, it still only felt like 305 hp.

AWD setting in the Performance Pages - anyone mess with the 50/50 spit setting? (outside of when driving in snow or mud)

Seems to me that less power going to the front will help those parts live longer, and the rear is a bit beefier so it can better deal with up to 70%.

Demon 170 vs Lucid Sapphire Air

Hey, easy there big guy. They sold quite a few Chargers, didn't they?

Dodge Challenger Redesigned with New Design Hemi V8

Sorry, but it won't matter if you have more money, or whatever. I'd never replace her with you. Ever,

Dodge Challenger Redesigned with New Design Hemi V8

Meh. It's just that some (not so New) Yorkers are a bit envious of that we have space, new Challengers available, low humidity, fun roads, and such.

    POST PICTURES OF YOUR DURANGO

I might have smiled when driving the '23, but I never did. Other than onto the trailer, off the trailer and onto the lift, then into the garage. And eventually back onto the trailer.

    POST PICTURES OF YOUR DURANGO

I'm not sure. Part of it could be that the '23 couldn't be ordered the way I wanted it (as a gray Base, without a sunroof and third seats), and that it took some nine months to finally get it. This '19 also has the third seat (not yet removed) and lots of options I could do without, but for a...

    POST PICTURES OF YOUR DURANGO

Still trying to get used to that this high mileage '19 puts a smile on my face every time I see it, which the '23 never did.

Dodge Challenger Redesigned with New Design Hemi V8

Not hiding from anyone in particular, 1971. It's more like groups and things. Ford driving New Yorkers, for example. Okay, any 1/2-ton pickups really. And heat. Plus of course alligators, EVs, pythons, Chargers, stop lights, etc. Roaming around in freedom is pretty damn nice, actually. Try it...

Dodge Challenger Redesigned with New Design Hemi V8

Hey, I'm not saying that it wasn't a great place to spend my youth. Heck, the only reason I can think of that I don't get any Fathers Day cards is because they never knew my name. Or current address. Four in one night was my record, and that was during kind of a competition with a friend. Had...

Lots of things are Greek to me. But not myself.

Ukraine was a close guess. My real name is Unnewyorky, but I quickly changed that when moving to the USA...as far from NY as possible. No point in moving to a place as dismal as what I left.

Dodge Challenger Redesigned with New Design Hemi V8

Thinking more about this, I suspect that you ended up separated from your roots, turning soft and civilized. Not so American that you're fat, yet soft. Meanwhile, I have remained more of a beserkerer and don't let things like bugs on the front of the 'Cat bug me. Heck, I can't see them when...

Dodge Challenger Redesigned with New Design Hemi V8

Yup, learned that with my first car, which was a convertible. Drive fast enough and you won't get wet. Trying to come to a stop under a bridge to put the top up was the tricky part.

Dodge Challenger Redesigned with New Design Hemi V8

I learned years ago that it has to do with speed. Stay under 100 or so and there won't be many bugs on the 'Cat, as evidenced by the relative lack of them on my girlfriend's car. Over 100 and the bugs (and birds) can't get out of the way in time. Guess that's an advantage of being a city...

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Now the signs people held, saying "Joe is fired", can be changed to "Joe has fired". Wow, looks like I guessed completely wrong on that one. The guys was supposedly a registered Republican.
