    New Muscle Announced 8/8/2025?

Got the sales codes for the '26 Durango today, which helped make my decide on the engine. While the V6 is alive and well for '26 (contrary to what some have claimed) I want a V8 now, 5.7 or 6.4. Well, as of today it's either V6, 5.7, or 6.2. Made that choice easy, and I had pretty much decided...

    New Muscle Announced 8/8/2025?

You mean like 707 hp in my Challenger vs. 710 in the Durango? But yes, people have been breaking Trackhawk transfer cases, and they're lighter than the Durango.

    New Muscle Announced 8/8/2025?

I sold my '23 shortly after buying it. Not that I'd care either way, if people can buy 'Cats for less, more power to them. So to speak. Damn, just as I started thinking about doing a Build and Price on a V6 Durango. Might as well get the R/T then...if they are available with AWD.

    New Muscle Announced 8/8/2025?

Looks like the Durango SRT is quite a bit less than it was in '23.

    New Muscle Announced 8/8/2025?

Sorry, but to me a Hurricane engine will always be the 134 c.i. F4. The one that necessitated the bulging hoods on Jeeps in '54 and ruined Jeeps' looks forever. With their naming of later vehicle models it would've been more appropriate if they had used the name of its predecessor, the Go Devil...

    New Muscle Announced 8/8/2025?

Even if it's an EV that has a self contained energy source stacked in the trunk, code named Plywood?

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Deaf people, who can't hear the exhaust. Besides, that's only about $13K more than I paid for the TRX...and it doesn't even have a turbo.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

I do the anti-flood routine at almost every startup, but only for 3 to 5 seconds or so. Sure makes a big difference in sound with the V6s and their upside down filters.

    AUGUST 2025 HFCOTM

Hunter, shouldn't there be something in the rules against subliminal advertising? In this case for Chevrolet.

Hmm, I need to find that picture of my Kioti tractor so you get some competition.

    I don't thing a 0.0787" difference will matter much.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

It sure looks like it does. Guess those Firestones were $110 off for a reason. Later a salesman recommended that I call every two weeks or so and find out if they got a new batch in.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

That thought has certainly crossed my mind. And for twice the pleasure I could then put the fronts on the rear and finish off all four in style. Since I still have the OE tires and wheels, which have been properly stored, I could drive on those until '28. Well, according to Tire Rack I could...

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

I can relate to the 'Cat not being started, but thankfully not to have lost the trust in it. When that has happened with other vehicles they were sold somewhat soon afterwards. Sure hope that won't be the case with your car. And speaking of tires, a while back I ordered a new set of Indy 500s...

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

I also noticed that loose fastener, just like Bowtie did, but took for granted that you knew about it being in your photo of your car. Can't see the forest for the trees?

EV's are a dud: "GM Expanding Production of Gas-Powered Vehicles"

Nope. At least I can't recall seeing or hearing about elk. Lots of moose around, though. And some deer.
