    Redeyes: Modded and Dyno'd

Turco or Torco? I've used this in the past: https://www.amazon.ca/Torco-F500010TE-Unleaded-Fuel-Accelerator/dp/B003TQ5QZQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=torco+octane+booster&qid=1583068507&sprefix=torco&sr=8-3 Pouring a can in always felt like this:

    AlfaOBD Mods

So based on everything I just read we just need someone to read a Demon BCM and we should be able to turn on Drag Mode (suspension), this is also likely how the HO option is teamed with the Demon centre stack in Redeyes. I'll get the licensed version of alfaOBD in the spring.

    Fair Trade Offer

I was offered $1000 trade-in value on my TBSS by the dealer that sold me my HC. I was laughing too hard to be insulted at the time. Truck has been for sale privately for about a year, I am not giving it away because it owes me nothing at this stage. So we wait. It took me 4-5 years to sell my...

    "Project Demons Breath"

Pumping losses, air flow/air mass, adiabatic efficiency, operating angles - yeah all news to me.

    M/T 305/45-17 vs Hoosier 28x10.5-17DBR Comparison?

Pardon the delayed response I was off doing superhero stuff for my day job. No, I will not be stretching my 325s on a wide wheel; but I can show what it runs like on a 9.5" wheel vs. an 11" wheel - measured section width being but part of the equation. But, a rather important limitation with...

    "Project Demons Breath"

The steel 2 piece is the proper design for these cars in most cases. I wish folks would move into chrome-moly and away from crap shoot aluminum or CF shafts of any design. Let me know if you need help sourcing an HO shaft. Giggle giggle.

    What really is "STOCK"????

Growing up, and eventually getting out of high school, we had 5.0s EVERYWHERE! So being over saturated by them was a huge turn-off. Plus, I was raised in a GM household... so there was some bias there as well. By the time I was in my early-20s (in the early 2000s) my MCSS (355, Vortec heads...

    M/T 305/45-17 vs Hoosier 28x10.5-17DBR Comparison?

Yeah, no. The number of considerations, characteristics and similarities between a "stretched" or "square" 15" drag radial and a "short sidewall" 17" drag radial are remarkably high. Look closer and more objectively.

    What really is "STOCK"????

In my graduating year in our Year Book I wrote that my "ultimate doom" would be to be stuck driving a 5 litre Mustang. I stand by those words.

    Tire rotating on wheel

    1. Lose the conjecture - it's embarrassing the amount of conjecture or anecdotal information taken as fact in this community; 2. Check your pride and wallet at the door - racing is expensive, deal with it; 3. Beads may fix some issues, in some applications but not all - however beads may be a...

    M/T 305/45-17 vs Hoosier 28x10.5-17DBR Comparison?

Somethings to consider: Don't just assume that because Johnny is running tire X and doing 1.X 60's that slapping them on your car will yield the same results.

    Redeyes: Modded and Dyno'd

That restriction going away would be the throttle body opening, not the nonexistent active exhaust valves which were removed with the 3" system. The later HCs can delete those without throwing a code (but, that is irrelevant since these cars are both tuned).

    What really is "STOCK"????

Love the "super tuning" of stock cars being discussed in the first 20 mins of this video. Also, the highlighting the value of the driver mod.

Spoiler alert: the area under the curve gains from the exhaust are pretty telling.

    Tire rotating on wheel

The “definition of insanity” quote first appeared in 1981, in a document published by Narcotics Anonymous. It was a sort of guide book for addicts who trying to overcome their disease, and it warned its readers that, “insanity is repeating the same mistakes and expecting different results.”...
