Remember right now I can’t get a good old fashioned Durango built!

That is about as likely as me agreeing to the dealer that called me two nights ago, wanted my 2019 RE for a new 2022 RE, plus plus $$$$ of course!

This really should be the solution they push until they get the charging network up to snuff.

I have a buddy with a 4xe Wrangler loves the damn thing. His wife loves it too that she basically drives it when he works at home.
Something like 20 miles no a charge with no gas usage. More than enough for the daily commute. I think he has only had 4 or 5 fillups since he bought it a year ago.

But then if wanted, he could drive it on a long road trip and think nothing of a recharge route. Gas and go.

I think Dodge could pair that technology with their I6TT and make a pretty hairy performance car that gets really great gas mileage.

Im just wondering if they are dragging their feet on revealing it to sell the last year of Hellcats or if they having major development issues.

The infrastructure just isn't up to snuff yet. The hybrid solution should be at the forefront right now. No electric range anxiety you run out of gas, AAA can bring you 5 gals of gas, they can't bring you 5 gals. of electricity.

No, can't say that I am.

I try to make it known early on that I'm only interested in what the new vehicle will cost me, not what they value either one at. If they want to offer a low amount for my trade, I say "Fine, just lower the price of yours accordingly".

Has worked quite well at dealerships I've never done business with before, and when buying at my favorite dealership the price is already so low that I'm not going to argue much about the trade's value.

Besides, I have made money on a few trade-ins/sales in the past two years. Even though one of them was a 4-door.

So for the sake of argument, let's say you filled up with shit gas, and only have 30 kWh equivalent.

Your new F-150 Lightning has the equal of about a 4 and a half gallon tank. And to refill that 4 and a half gallon tank? has to be done thru a 1/16 inch diameter tube...
