What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Were you running the de-tuned program you used to get traction at the dragway, or the balls-out version that was uncontrollable?

Since it was a roll I went with the full fat race tune. Did a small rolling clean off of the tires before I got going for most of the runs and that seemed to put enough heat in them to hook with the MTs. Back to back runs it was no problem and the tires had plenty of heat at that point.

I do want to try to revisit that tune at the strip as well. Going to try Linda’s 1–2 strategy with the gas pedal.

Washed 750 street miles (25% in the rain) and a bunch of 160 MPH passes off of it.

Cleaned it all up the other night. Looking at the forecast and knowing how much yellow pollen is blowing around…. & notice she had little respect for my drying tools yesterday either.

Sickening how much pollen is around. Washed my cat and in about 8 hours it was already covered in yellow dust again

The spruce trees are having their several weeks where they candle and sprout with lots of yellow pollen released. I have seen it look like smoke in some of them when the wind hits them right. We drive the Octane Red Jeep, it is more than covered, the black DDSRT that has just sat uncovered in the garage is also fairly covered in the stuff. We might get the car out Sunday, but it could very well be next weekend before it comes out, so it is going to stay covered.

I guess the difference between wealthy HC owners and poor HC owners is the poor ones wash their own HC's!!!

I gave my neighbor a ride in mine this past week while I was testing some new rotors, he had never been in one, and despite him being well experienced in various cars, he was thoroughly impressed even by it "just" being a Hellcat.

Mine is 10 this December coming up, it was nice to get a response like that after all these years.
