Seems to me. How shitty a job? Any direction where I should start would be a great help. Car is a ‘15 Challenger with 7.2k miles. 🤬. Thanks as always.

Thanks Bull, seemingly so. If it’s not just a hose or clamp. I understand pumps are hard to come by, and expensive. Got to do a search on R&R of the front clip as well as pump replacement options. Ugh…

Start with the easy-to-fix solutions, like re-torquing bolts. Then spray it all down with soap, rinse and watch carefully. Maybe a hose is dried out and lost its seal. Be patient, a few drops lost is no big deal. Take your time and isolate the leak.

Years ago my Wrangler TJ was dripping oil from the rear top, maybe a valve cover gasket. Luckily I first retorqued all the valve cover bolts, and several were loose. After tightening the prob disappeared!

Will do. Thanks 2A. Before I do anything I’ve got to get eyes on it, which I guess is going to be the biggest pita.

I think I’d start by moving that clamp off the hose and putting a worm clamp in its place good and tight.

Just looking at a few YT vids front facia r&r doesn’t seem too involved. I’ll start playing with this tomorrow. I’m going to see if my local auto part stores have a pressure tester available. I guess the pressure tester will go onto the reservoir on the p/s shock tower? More to come.

Sucks but seems inevitable they all fail over time.

Latest. Front end off, easier than I thought, relief. Intercooler pump has 2 half’s with seepage. I tried torquing down the bolts holding it together. They didn’t move. Anybody deal with this???

There doesn’t appear to have a gasket between the 1/2’s. Wtf?

Wash it all down and start fresh. Find the highest leak.

The O Ring appears to be a bit flatter on one side, maybe an inch long area.

Yes, agree, just replace the oring, it is most likely the culprit. McMaster is a GREAT source for them.

Thanks @BULL thanks @16GoManGoHC2 . Sidelined today due to holiday, In-laws coming over so we’ve got things to do. I’ll get back to it tomorrow, thanks for the help, and Happy Easter to all!

Tony I agree with the others on that O-ring and I'm sure that will fix it. If not then maybe another pump? Looks pretty easy with the bumper cover off. I've never removed mine and you say easy peasy?
Happy Easter

@Octanewide Good am Jeff, haven’t spoke in a while, hope all is well on your end. The bumper cover removal was not at all hard, just a pita with the clips, the rivet ones are single use. I’m always afraid of shitty gaps and chipping paint putting it all back together. I just finished an off season refresh of my Roadrunners engine compartment then had to get right into this, not knowing what I was getting into. Good thing I was fortunate to retire last April or none of this would be getting done! Talk soon, take care IMG_3606.jpeg IMG_3602.jpeg IMG_3601.jpeg IMG_3604.jpeg

The rivets on the front make 0 sense. Ran across those on our Challenger. My Charger does not have any, just the plastic pins
