Insurance jumped 30%! Anything to do with the dragway or land speed trials???

Insurance has gone thru the roof. We’re paying for those 1000% increases in car theft and metropolitan mayhem along with the Bidenomics devaluation of the dollar. Now is when a good independent agent is the way to go. I had Farmers until last year. They increased their rates by 60%. My agent ditched them and moved me to another company (United Insurance Group). Saved me thousands.

State Farm went nuts a few years ago.
Switched to Allstate and now their rates are over what SF wanted a few years back.

Time to switch again.
I'll look into the independent insurance route.

The last 4 renewals with SF...each at 6mo increments...have gone up 10-17% EACH. 100% clean record. CDL A/X/M with defensive driving courses

They can eat a fat sack for all I care. I'm yanking all 3 cars and the house ASAP.

-increased number of accidents due to people that pass on the shoulder
-increased number of accidents due to people that weave through traffic at unsafe speeds
-increased number of accidents due to people that think that traffic laws like red lights don't apply to them

-increased number of accidents due to people being on their phones
-increased medial costs due to careless drivers and/or car thieves that injure or kill other people
-illegals that do all of the above with no insurance

House insurance went up 50% and that was after we put on a new roof !

Been with SF for > 30 years but thinking it's time to change. What's really stupid is all 3 cars are within $50 of each other. Makes no sense that an 8 yr old Hellcat, 5 yr old Q50 and a brand new GV70 would all cost almost the same !

The other pisser was the new roof. It's been certified by the building inspector, the roofing co., and the shingle manufacturer but SF refuses to accept any of that and said I might get a discount if it passed their inspection that they want me to pay $250 for. Told them to F right off & kiss my ass.

We just cancelled our insurance with nationwide after being with them for 50+ years. It went up some when we first moved to Florida 2 yrs ago but now, our rate has gone up twice more in the last year by a total of almost 100%! Was told that the increases were just general rate increases across the board. They didn’t care about our loyalty. Went with Auto-Owners Insurance but still over $2100 for just the one vehicle here in central Florida.

Bet they tell you the same crap !! My roofer was certified and even the shingle co (Atlas) certified & warranted the install.
If they want to inspect they are welcome to it (at a time convenient to me), but they can F-off if they think I'm going to pay them to do it !

Teresa went from a scat pack to an R/T and it was about the same because it was a year newer. Figured it would be a lot cheaper being less hp and car was cheaper

That is strange. I also have no tickets or accidents other than a deer with my SUV. I will be 81 in June so maybe since you’re still a youngster they are afraid you’ll go fast and be irresponsible. LOL

Don’t get me started on this. Just got my insurance for my other vehicles, not the HC, and it went up 73%. WTF?🤬 I’ve done a little searching and the insurance cos I’ve checked are just as bad.
