This kit here...I’ve yet to see results from. Other than Nigel Crowe. It’s been a nightmare for a couple guys I’ve talked to who’ve tried to use it.

Stick with killer chiller or the forced inductions IC from Australia.

Too late, I have the AI kit coming next week.
Do you know what issues others have had you say ?
Their fairly simple systems, & all are similar.

I was told FI copied the AI system & AI is made in the US, so if I have a issue, it will be easier to deal directly with them in the US. I have the owners (Dave) cell # for any questions.

Yea the guy from Aussy stole my conception and then the guy from St Pete stole the rest. Then he fell down and never returned my calls. I have a great idea of this critter and I am not giving out any more info over the net. I will help any one but for someone to sell an idea that dosen't work or mess it up is not going to have me associated with it. The whole tank in the trunk idea is completely stupid. I think there is 1 guy that picked up on conseption of using the car's a/c unit with a few mods was right on track. Very simple, small amount of tubing, couple of tees, a little bit of controls. So no stupid toggle switch. I believe this guy had it turned on with the controls of the cabin a/c. Man,,, sorry this got so buggered up. Being a chiller mechanic for 30 years in a many different manners, hate to see any one get their $$$ taken by a scam from a scum.

Hey @Hickster, what is wrong with the toggle switch ?... you mean the switch between cabin a/c & drag mode for intercooler only ?

It seems like a good kit from AI, bypass valve between stock HX & intercooler only.
I wanted to keep my stock HX's, so on the street if I don't want or need to run the a/c, I don't have to.

Nope,, the toggle switch is just fine. If you wanted to have it switched over auto then there is a way to do it. Nothing wrong with that application at all. My genuis buddy Bob from Riverside, Cali set me up with an application of having my painted cats heads, eyes to eyes to have a glowing eyes. It will come on when the lights are turned on. He is a genus when it comes to controls and all sorts of cool stuff. But, no the toggle switch will work but just find a reptuble company that knows what they are doing. Like mentioned Have any questions before,, there are a couple of companies that have buggered this non complex system up. Contact me. I have no affiliation with any companies. Retired street engineer.

My drag size killer chiller the other day Tooling down the highway at 80, it’s on 100% of the time. Some show there temps at idle and very little load, here it is under load waiting for action. This is in mix mode cabin and inter cooler. Just intercooler, in drag mode, it’s even colder. 6F6F938D-22D7-4EBF-B378-C4A151FF77C0.jpeg

Anyone running a Killer Chiller on a Whipple car? That data would be awesome to see. Haven't heard back from Active Interchiller yet, that's the next route.

Without his killer chiller, the IAT would be a good 25* higher than ambient temp.

Gauges are correct, IAT is always higher than I/C temp.

After a little research, I now understand.

I just assumed the IAT displayed was pre-supercharger air but it seems that it is actually post intercooled air.

Ha I'd hope so, or else the intercooler would be called an interheater.

Delta T should be 17 degrees difference or more.

Well it wasn't too bad but it did take about 5 days to get it done, I did a lot of extra things that takes time like cleaning up behind the nose of the car while it was off & insulating the hard lines & I did the a/c vacuum & recharge also. I'm real happy with how it came out, still can run on stock heat exchangers or switch to chiller with cabin a/c or drag mode with no cabin a/c.
First time at the track I was seeing 37* & 39* I/C temps, depending on how long of a chill down b4 pass, I also saw low 40*s , the lowest I saw was 33*, the passes were in 77* / 80% humidity & DA at 2000, I ran 10.15,10.18 &10.20 at 134 & 135.70 mph.
At Mopar Fest it started in the 70's & went to 80's with 50 & 60% humidity at 2000 DA & I ran 10.05 & 10.08 at 135 & 136.76 mph. :p
