Pick up only (Houston area).

I bought these from another member on this site for my 2016 Cat. I only needed two for drag radials, but could only find a set of 4. When I bought them it was “wheels only”, no TPMS, no center caps, no tires.

So now I traded in on a REWB and these wheels won’t work for me anymore. I’m selling them as they sit right now. Two of them have Mickey Thompson ET Street SS tires mounted on them in the factory sizing (275/40/20), complete with TPMS sensors and center caps. As you can see from the tread, there’s a lot of life left in the tires. The other two wheels are as I purchased them....bare.

I’m looking for $1,000 for all 4 as they sit. Hit me up if you’re interested.

These are Factory Hellcat wheels. The TPMS sensors/valve stems and wheel center caps are also factory Hellcat parts.

I bought these wheels from @MikeD1 during September of last year.

Yep, they came off my '16 Hellcat.

Would be ironic if they ended up back here in FL :)

Hi guys,
I'm new on here and on the "other" forum. I have a 2016 Challenger HC NB. Most of what I'm reading is that 305/35 20 seems to be the preferred set up. How did these perform for you? Did you only use them at the strip or did you daily them too? We don't have any drag strips close by to me here in Germany (i'm American that's stationed over here) so most of my driving is gonna be autobahn pulls and black forest exploring.

Lastly, any idea how these are compared to the Nitto NT555R's? If you decide to ship, I might be interested.

Thanks,
Tom

I went with the stock sizing over the 305s because I wanted my sidewall to be square on the stock 9.5" wheel. I chose staying on a stock wheel vs a reproduction wheel in a wider sizing because repros are cast wheels (not forged like factory), which means heavier and weaker. I could have gone with aftermarket wheels like Weld like I did with my REWB, but at the time I wasn't prepared to make that kind of investment.

I personally feel that I'm not giving up any measurable performance to the 305 with the 275 (roughly 1" less, that isn't a lot). To me the tire compound is the difference over a standard tire, not 1" of tire width.

These tires performed well for me on the street and I never took them to the track. I needed a tire that would help me get the Cat moving. Nothing more embarrassing than meeting up with a Mustang 5.0 at a stoplight and getting creamed because the tires won't do anything but spin. Bolting up these tires solved that issue.

I didn't run them all of the time because the compound is very soft and would not have lasted long. On Friday or Saturday nights when I was going out to play, I'd bolt these up. If there was a chance of rain, I'd leave the stock tires on. These aren't very good in the wet.

I do not have any experience with the Nitto, but what I have read is the M/T tire has better overall grip and the Nitto handles poor weather better. I'm sure someone with direct experience with both tires could chime in and give you some real world data.

Thanks for the great feed back OP! I tend to agree with you that the difference in rubber compound makes the bigger difference than the small difference in contact patch. I saw the same thing when I changed tires on my M4 going from Michelin PSS's to Michelin PS4's.

Now, about that shipping...…:)

Those big commercial shippers get huge discounts on the rate. It cost me $55/ea to ship just the wheels from Brooksville, FL to Houston !

I'm good with that actually. I'm looking at either getting 2 tires and 2 repro wheels or trying this set up if I can talk OP into shipping to me :)
