What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Nope. Back when we still had actual winters they would happily ruin perfectly nice and clean roads with hardpacked snow into a slushy and corrosive mess. Better yet, they would spread that shit, then go by with the plows. That's logic so flawed you'd swear it's from the east coast.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Oddly enough, our local small mountain of "red shit" (cinder and salt) is still mostly intact. And has been for two years since we haven't had any winter lately.

BOYCOTT all Stellantis vehicles. This is too much.

You wouldn't have to plow as much if you had a TRX. They're good for up to 23 inches of snow I've found...and not just the light fluffy stuff.

BOYCOTT all Stellantis vehicles. This is too much.

Well worth it, compared to not much less for the RHO version. Or even a well optioned regular 1500. Besides, a few dealers will happily take about $10 K off of MSRP...while some will likely add ADM instead.

I know you don't like the Durango, but love 1500s. So what's wrong with a 1500 that has 702 hp?

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

On Challengers, Chargers, and Durangos, those posts work just fine for a maintainer or solar charger. Where it can get tricky is when connecting directly to the battery. On Ram 3500s it works well, on TRXs it doesn't. Took me a while to figure it out, but bypassing the battery sensor can be a...

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Other than reading about people that have had batteries ruined by those maintainers, no I have no data/evidence. But even if they were flawless, they don't have desulfation. To me that's almost as important as having a quality maintainer in the first place. I already mentioned their sledge...

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

In all fairness, their sledge hammers are both cheap and dependable. I have quite a few of those.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

I know, I know. It's not that yours don't work for you, but for one, they don't work as well as a good maintainer does. More importantly, to me anything electrical from HF is scary, and I have several smoked angle grinders to back that statement up. I do have multimeters from HF, but they...

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

I'm pretty sure I've already given him crap about those cheesy maintainers (that don't even have desulfation), so it's really more of a reminder for him. And a public service announcement for the rest of you.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Uh, oh, get your Harbor Freight coupons ready, folks. Personally I'd also buy a good fire extinguisher, even though 2nd has lucked out so far..

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

In a not so roundabout way, yes.

We've made it up to $4.007 here.

Will Driving in ECO Mode Harm the HC???

And now that you mentioned it, I kept it in 3rd gear on the autocross and 3rd for almost all of the longer track. Only on the longest straight was 4th needed. Didn't want any auto shifts at the wrong moment, and using the paddles is easier said than done in sharp curves.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Sure, but many things in life are unpredictable. For me it's easier to predict if traction will be compromised (and what the car will do) than if there's elk on the road around the corner, or if there will be oncoming traffic when passing someone. I'm not willing to limit my driving to summer...

Will Driving in ECO Mode Harm the HC???

Speaking of ECO freak mode, what setting do you normally use when racing, DGatzby? I'm sure you've mentioned it at some point, but I forgot. Anyway, at Radford the instructor told me to try turning all the nannies off on the autocross course. I did, and couldn't really notice any difference...

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

I think you're underestimating what a car can do in lower temps. For me it's very rare that it's over 40 degrees when I take off in the morning, usually it's in the 30s. And it doesn't get any warmer as I gain altitude. Of course, coming home it's usually in the 70s.

    2026 DDHC Key Fobs

If memory serves me I didn't get a black key with my '23. Of course, that didn't bother me one bit since I've never used anything but the red keys. In the vehicles that come with them that is. The TRXs only get black keys. Maybe put a black cover on one of the red ones?

And with huge cat skull decals on the quarter panels.

Will Driving in ECO Mode Harm the HC???

Was that one of the instructors, or possibly the new guy in sales? Maybe the receptionist? And I noticed that they have a couple of 392s, used as skid cars.
