Wow sold the Electric truck and cashed out and bought this to replace it😎

Lots of ravens, some hawks, and the occasional eagle, show up to feast when I shoot prairie dogs. Heck, some have apparently learned to follow me around, expecting a meal. Doesn't work when the 'dogs fall back in the hole, but then either the other ones, and maybe the badgers, eat them.

Wow sold the Electric truck and cashed out and bought this to replace it😎

Those guys are big. Probably about a 6-foot wing span. About a dozen of them have been circling an area on a neighboring property for two days now. Got curious and drove over to look. Turned out to be a deer, or possibly a small elk. Too much brush for the little Can-Am to get close enough to...

Did someone mention Ford? I'm hungry, and will eat just about anything.

Wow sold the Electric truck and cashed out and bought this to replace it😎

I fully expected a visitor in a Furd today. There were several vultures circling and sitting around. With a bad back and knees, I can relate. That's why I rarely drive my Ram 3500 more than 1,300 miles in one sitting. Okay, technically at least two sittings, since I have to stop for fuel every...

Wow sold the Electric truck and cashed out and bought this to replace it😎

It does pay to shop around. Took me a while to find an RS6 Avant (ordered) without ADM, but found a dealer in Arizona that would do it. An easy $15K to $30K off from what others wanted. But on the flip side, I've learned to no buy from AZ anymore. They wouldn't allow me to pick it up, had to be...

Define "driving distance", please. I've bought cars from Maryland to Idaho, and there wasn't single ferry or airplane involved.

I think this is what we all wanted! The Hemi V8 lives on!

As I understand it, it's a nicely done hand wash. It'd be a bit of a drive for you, though. And they're mostly used to 2-doors, with the occasional Macan or Cayenne being let in.

I think this is what we all wanted! The Hemi V8 lives on!

That one would, yes. She often leaves a car for service and gets a loaner to go to Costco in. And they would be nice enough to let her charge and take a loaner. It's a Mercedes/Audi/Porsche dealership, and she's bought enough Porsches and Audis to get preferential treatment. Even though most of...

I think this is what we all wanted! The Hemi V8 lives on!

MJS73 beat me to it. It's easy to claim a certain range, but then there's real life. In theory we could use an EV with a (claimed) range of 350 miles to make a Costco trip. In reality we'd never make it back home, partially due to speed, and also because of having to deal with altitude changes...

If you want to check out my car special

And here I was about to compliment you on the nice eulogy you had for the Challenger (and Charger) on the news this morning. Guess I won't. Instead, now I hope you get a Hornet as a company car.

I can kinda live with that. What I really don't care for is when any kind of (especially yellow) machinery is referred to as a "bulldozer". In real life it's obvious that it's actually a backhoe, wheel loader, or something else. But in all fairness, some news reports no longer calls a tractor...

    Never Lift - Stay Tuned October 2021 - 2023

And here I've been considering getting a spare Challenger for a while now. On top of that, I just sold the AWD Challenger and miss it quite a bit. On the positive side, I still haven't wrecked the '18 (oddly enough), and I'm out of money. But it's still very tempting, damn it. We already have...

I think this is what we all wanted! The Hemi V8 lives on!

I see that I have one huge advantage here, not driving my Challenger daily. Heck, I think I managed 200 miles on it last summer - which is basically driving it once. And I have to admit that the Challenger GT I had a for a while drove better. Partly because of being some 500 lbs. lighter, and...

I think this is what we all wanted! The Hemi V8 lives on!

Depends of you you define functionality, I suppose. My Challenger makes me happy just looking at it, and obviously even more so when driving it. That would not be the case with a Charger. Okay, driving one may not be all bad, since then I couldn't see what it looks like. Top speed? Almost...

If you want to check out my car special

There, I fixed it for you, Eric. If I lived in some city, the weather would be the least of my worries. It wouldn't matter to me if the stoplights/pavement/shopping malls/houses were hot or cold, wet or dry.

Did you forget that Chargers used to be attractive? Especially around 1969.

If you want to check out my car special

Can't blame Eric for this one, but it cracks me up when National Weather Service has "Less than a 1/4-inch of rain possible" in the forecast. That should cover any place on the planet, and at any time, I would think.

If you want to check out my car special

He could find out. Eric has access to national weather service, just like we do.
