Yeah, for '19 up they finally went to 3.73s.

Nice! Bet you wish it didn't have the 3.42 gears, though.

Well, the 2500 is only weight limited on paper, thanks to the max 10K GVWR, but a 1500 really doesn't have any actual load carrying capability to speak of.

Ram Truck Owners Have Wandering Eyes

Umm, it was unlocked, with the keys in it, just like the 'Cat. Not that I know what the difference would be, since except for the wheels the two looked practically identical. Unless potential thieves would open the hood and check before deciding which one to take.

Ram Truck Owners Have Wandering Eyes

I had a '14 1500 with the V6 for years. A very dependable but quite boring car. Then a Challenger with the V6, which was fun to drive. Thanks to the AWD and less weight it handled better than the 'Cat. In other words, I have nothing against the V6, or the 8-speed. Also, I much prefer the...

Ram Truck Owners Have Wandering Eyes

Yeah, I don't know how I put up with the ancient Cummins and the Aisin with a mere 6 gears. Potentially because it'll pull 25K without a whimper, and could go for 500K miles with just basic maintenance. And that old 6.2 in the TRX...don't know what to say about that museum piece. Good thing it...

I learned to really appreciate active sway control (Reese and Husky) during my 1,000-mile "commute" every two weeks. That was with a Ram 2500 and a 16' enclosed trailer. Ironically the anti sway was most appreciated on the return trips, when the trailer was empty, and passing tractor trailers...

Well, then you shouldn't blame the 2500 for the bad ride quality. And it probably wouldn't be much better in a 1500 with that load in the bed, as it would be on the bump stops.

And what tire pressures were you running? With the as-delivered 80 psi in the back the ride quality suffers big time.

Yes, I'd say so. They tend to take the unrealistic J2807 test numbers and run with them. I've seen some press photos where whoever pieced them together had no clue what things weigh in real life. The worst was a load of lumber behind a Ram 3500, which realistically should've been hooked to a...

A '14-up 2500 rides about like a 1500, especially with the optional rear air suspension. At least if the tire pressures are correct for the low (or no) load. And you probably know how the second trailer wiggles around back there when pulling doubles, regardless of the size of the tractor. Well...

Mine have not been fine, but that could be because my balls aren't big enough. Or, that I've looked at the size of the brakes and other chassis components. Possibly also because there's no way not to notice even an empty trailer back there, wanting to make itself known. And succeeding. I may...

Towing slowly with a 1500 is not a bad idea, regardless of what engine it has..

    Hellcat Swapped Wrangler For Sale

Guess I should give you some credit, 4pac, for not only putting up with excess doors, but also several wimmin.

Should still be the same year...unless he fiddled with the chassis number.

    911 Turbo Coupe For Sale

Luckily, she's not considering selling that one. If I got to choose, the GT4 would go away, but she figures that the TRX can do what the Q8 does. And it can, but not quite the same way.

    911 Turbo Coupe For Sale

Yep, they sure know how to make cars handle. Heck, look at what they've accomplished with the 911. I think you made a very good choice and will like the Macan a lot. We may even have a set (or two) of WeatherTech floor mats and a rear seat cover left over. Seems like she orders them up within...
