    Tire Size Help On Trackhawk....

Which they can't if you have snow chains installed, and they're tight.

GM says NO to EV’s!! YAYYYY!!

Supposedly they just decided not to build two wind farms in the drink by New Jersey.

    Tire Size Help On Trackhawk....

It's really the static loaded radius that counts, so maybe play with the tire pressures? A half inch of height disappears quickly with less psi.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

    And circular, right?

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Now you sound like a Floridian.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

When those little Mercedes SUVs came out I played in some large sand dunes with one. Wide tires and enough power made it quite capable...until... Decided to shoot a bowl, going up a slope at a slight angle, then sideways towards the top (or as close to it as the vehicle will make it), ready to...

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Yep, that sounds like my attempts with the 'Cat, except with the "uphill" at the road, and ditches and fence posts instead of trees. At least I can blame it on the tires - that I put on it.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Okay, so it's not exactly full-on traffic on our road, but people do occasionally drive by. And it should make you feel better that I got the GT AWD specifically to use on wet or snowy days, saving the 'Cat from the embarrassment of not being able to claw its way to the road, or up to proper...

    Hellcat low horsepower

See, they don't even consider lowlifes like Floridians.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Ha ha, it's not as bad as it sounds. The oil change before hibernation generally happens in late December, on a day when the roads are nice and dry, but the driveway has hard packed snow on it. With my tires, when putting it in gear on flat ground, one of two things happen. It goes nowhere as...

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Yeah, but we can get a lot more miles on the odometer when driving on snow. My driveway is about 14 times longer in the winter according to the 'Cat.

How to get in trunk. Battery disconnected.

Could've been much worse. Some people could've left three more doors open.

How to get in trunk. Battery disconnected.

I get that, but there was an obvious load on the charging system, so energy was going into something. The three batteries were in parallel, so I suppose the the two good ones could put a load on the charging system, but then I'd think that the starter would have worked.

How to get in trunk. Battery disconnected.

A couple of years ago I thought the starter in my Peterbilt had died, only getting a click from the solenoid. Somehow I deducted that it was actually battery related and tried jump starting it. Didn't work. At that time it was running on three Group 31 Optimas out of four, as one had died a...

How to get in trunk. Battery disconnected.

I don't see why the battery would have to be connected. The goal should be to put power to the electrical system (which can be done through the posts under the hood), not to the dead battery. If anything, a discharged battery sometimes can't be "jump started" but can somehow absorb all the...

    Balancing MT Front Runners

Is that 1/2 or 1/4 oz. weights? Also, that they have a good balancer doesn't mean they know how to operate it.

    Stellantis cancels auto shows

I'm pretty sure you could enable heated seats with AlfaOBD, but not so sure that the actual heating function would be there in all seats.

The 1st Dodge Challenger - Wow!

No, look again. It's not the 4-door version.

    MGB: The Legend

Speaking of unprovoked, I did forget one maintenance detail. After every weekend having road raced it on a twisty track, the spokes on the rear wheels had to be retightened. That car had quite a few miles on it, so I guess the rear wheels were getting tired.

    MGB: The Legend

Maintenance nightmare?!? Adjusting the valves and points every now and then was all the ones I had ever asked for. In addition to regular fluid changes, of course. And there was no 6-month rule for the oil, so if anything they had less maintenance requirements. Triumph? Never had one, never...
