Oh, I sure plan on keeping mine long term, too. Otherwise I wouldn't have bothered with the careful break-in, early oil change, etc. In other words, I concentrate on those fairly important parts that make it go, and keeps it going.

Sounds like you're worse than I am, except that in my case it's the mechanical stuff I obsess over. No cold starts, for example. If it gets started, it gets driven and fully warmed up. Very careful break-in, early fluid changes, never driven any of them in the rain, yet, and so on. Anyway, I...
