Anybody here remember the old Bias ply tires?

I think it needs to say "Regrooveable" on the sidewall to be legit. And I've only seen that on truck and trailer tires.

    The Official "I ordered" thread

Bummer. Oh well, just drive then. You should go slowly for 500 miles anyway, and surely the cops know what's going on.

    The Official "I ordered" thread

Wouldn't the dealer give you a temporary registration, good for a month or two? And I think those can be extended. We got 1-1/2 months on the 'Hawk (from out of state), and my girlfriend drove it another 1-1/2 months or so after the temporary had expired. Nobody cared.

FCA axes Dodge Journey and Grand Caravan for 2021

I must admit that only a few days ago I was blissfully unaware that these vehicles even existed. Yes, of course I knew that there were minivans, just like I knew about the plague, but that was about it. Although, now that I think about it, there's still a cut-out on the back of my Jeep, from an...

FCA axes Dodge Journey and Grand Caravan for 2021

You do realize that even before that they had figured out what caused kids, right?

Anybody here remember the old Bias ply tires?

I have a couple of grooving irons, but have never used them to increase the tread depth. Instead I tune the tread on tires I use in the dirt, for better traction. Or for better performance in the snow.

FCA axes Dodge Journey and Grand Caravan for 2021

Not even if you fold 14 of the seats?

Mmm, bias ply tires. Me like.

FCA axes Dodge Journey and Grand Caravan for 2021

Couldn't you use one of those small enclosed trailers for that?

What else do you drive besides a HC?

God keeps coming up with new ways to weed out the hopeless cases, but we seem to do our best to protect them, no matter what.

What else do you drive besides a HC?

That must've been a very interesting job, Mr. Storm. I'm sure it involved a fair amount of coming up with unusual solutions. I would've loved it.

What else do you drive besides a HC?

Hey, I may have passed that one a some point. When there was a fire going, living in an extreme fire hazard area I might have exceed the speed limit by a smidgen on occasion to get home asap. One year I got a call while at SEMA (yeah, there's Vegas again) and since I happened to be driving a...

What else do you drive besides a HC?

Not really. Especially modern cars are very easy to drive up on. And thanks to the portal axles you shouldn't even lose any paint on the undercarriage.

What else do you drive besides a HC?

I drove past (almost) last week, but didn't make any arrangements. Although, my girlfriend might pay me to go there...or anywhere...since apparently I keep saying stuff like that from first thing in the morning and until I fall asleep.

Well.... hell. Thinking of getting rid of the Charger Hellcat

Yep. When I had a camper I even bought light beer, not to overload the pickup too much.

What else do you drive besides a HC?

Wait a minute! How can the power take-off even exist when there's no power to begin with?!? Okay, maybe there's a little, but I just got back in after a couple of hours pulling the 10-foot mower so I'm a bit biased..

Well.... hell. Thinking of getting rid of the Charger Hellcat

Please do, because I couldn't do without them. Too many vehicles, so at least two chargers (out of maybe 10) are always on some battery. Plus a couple of solar chargers.

Well.... hell. Thinking of getting rid of the Charger Hellcat

I would've actually settled for 75 total, but I could be convinced to take 85K.

Well.... hell. Thinking of getting rid of the Charger Hellcat

I'm ok with the 5K cash, but when would the check for the rest clear?

Well.... hell. Thinking of getting rid of the Charger Hellcat

Magnified, do I have the perfect deal for you...my Trackhawk. It'll fit you perfectly as it also has too many doors, and non-round headlights. Best of all, nobody will think you bought it at a used taxi auction.
