Okay, there are indeed options that don't add any weight. Delete options would fall in that category.
When ordering my Ram 3500, for example, I opted for no third brake light. And did not order TPMS.
Does that make a noticeable difference on a vehicle that weighs close to 9,500 lbs.? Nope.
But...
I bought a Limited badge for my 'Hawk, to replace the Trackhawk badge.
Of all the Jeeps I've had, and have, the 'Hawk is by far the most limited. Lots of sport, not much utility.
I will have to test that theory. Trust me, I have all kinds of crap laying around that I could have visible in the background.
Now, my crap is nowhere near as nice as ChargerChallenger's cars, but with some luck it could be seen as artsy.
Think about how many apparently manage to curb their wheels on a low car. Now imagine them in a taller pickup and the matching spare wheel makes sense.
Then again, ""Matching spare wheel" may only meant that it's the same diameter.
Public transportation is the answer for those groups.
Okay, not the cops, they should have decent performance...as long as it isn't as decent as my Challenger's.

Seriously?? That darn rotary shifter in my 1500 is the worst thing about the whole car, I think.
That's closely followed by how much even a small empty trailer affects it.
Other than that I like the little thing quite a bit. Okay, I would certainly like it a lot more without the touch screen.
I could be one, if a TRX interested me.
Fewer options means less weight, which equals better performance, and costs less.
An added bonus is that there's less to go wrong.
Heck, I usually try to get rid of mandatory stuff, not add more.
