It is costly for a dealer to sit on a car, so that is a good bargaining tool.

Just don't forget the mandatory $4k LoJack, locking lug nuts, free-oil-changes-for-a-year at only $800, and whatever else they may have to offer.

Hellcatcfp, I just had a terrible realization. I own three 4-doors. My only redemption is that I have many more 2-doors.

Polish Black Alum Wheels or Beadlock-Capable Alum Wheels by Mopar?

Wasn't the deal that the need parts to make them bead locks had to be purchased separately? For a small fee, of course. But since the vehicles are apparently sold out, you'll have time to decide.

Hey, Hellcatcfp, I almost forgot to ask (you can also chime in, Magnified); how does it feel to be twice as likely to get a door ding?

I see how you're trying to justify a Charger Hellcat here.

To be perfectly honest, it has and has had several crew cab Rams in there. But it was brought up with those.

I know the feeling, and can relate. Then again, I really haven't regretted a single car buy, but I sure try to forget about several that I passed on..

Well, there is that thing called garage rejection, similar to donor rejection. My garage would definitely wonder what it did wrong if I stuffed a 4-door in there.

Just do it. Aero. You only live once. Have them toss something in to ease the measly 2K difference if need be.

Now that you mention it, I'm hauling six doors around between two cars. No wonder I like the Challenger better than the 'Hawk.

I think you should buy the '19, and keep the '16. If for no other reason to have as many doors as Hellcatcfp is dragging around with just one car.

You may find that it'd cost less, maybe a lot less, to get that '19. Hunter balancers aren't cheap.

You're definitely on the right track, too, way ahead of most. All you seem to be missing is that good tire shop. There was an excellent one in Yuma, but the truly great owner (who I learned an awful lot from and still do) sold the store. There has to be others, guys. Keep looking.

There's another option, seldom used these days. Patch balancing the tire. Not that I know how those would get along with a track tire, but I've used them on my Jeep tires with success, and I run those down to 1 psi, and over rocks. Two advantages are that the Hunter machines are (or used to...
