Just a thought as a new guy,

I buy the PUP 0W/40 on sale, usually, and even the SRT filters are cheap, so maybe $60 per year spent on the engine. So far. My most common problem is avoiding speeding tickets, meaning that keeping an eye out for cops is essential. Other than that, I put gas in it and go fast. Simple as that...

    The Official "I ordered" thread

I don't think you should worry at all, Pierre. They seem to have thwarted the thefts, etc., and the newness about these vehicles has surely worn off enough that the yard workers no longer feel that they must step on them.

I just wondered if you have seen the somewhat lengthy list of status codes, and what they mean. Not all of them are good, by they way. There's one for damaged, and one for missing, if memory serves me.

Just a thought as a new guy,

Why are we defending our reason(s) for buying a Hellcat over a Scatpack on HellcatForum.org. in the first place?? Not that I get why anyone would start a thread here stating that the Scatpack is a better choice, either, but that's just another one of many things I don't understand.

Do you have the status codes? They're probably on a sticky. I can dig that info up if you don't have it/can't find it.

    The Official "I ordered" thread

There used to be a good way to check via a website, but it's long gone. FCA customer service, whether chat or by calling, is more of a crap shoot. To get good info, use your dealer. I have my dealer trained to email me updates whenever there's a change in status.

Man, I'm not used to this kind of progress; today the little wagon hitched its first train ride. Yep, it's now in KZM. Hopefully heading west.

Just a thought as a new guy,

You deserve some sort of bonus points for admitting that. Kinda makes Hickster look sane in comparison.

Yours will probably go to Phoenix. At least I think that was one hub. Then likely trucked to your dealer from there. Either way, don't be surprised if it shows up with salt spray on it, from the early part of the journey. and then there's the infamous rail dust. Don't forget to take a peek...

Just a thought as a new guy,

They used 0-50, huh? And it still took embarrassingly long.

2020 Lineup Across the Board (all makes) Doesn’t Excite

Funny that you mention the back seat. Last night I was wondering how hard it'll be to remove the back seat. Since the 'Hawk has two doors too many, it'll likely be easier than it was on the '13 Golf R I had. It was thankfully a 2-door (looks and weight), but unfortunately a 2-door (harder to...

Just a thought as a new guy,

Okay, I'm easily confused. Is that supposed to be a Challenger, or just challenged? Better or worse than a Scatpack?

Just a thought as a new guy,

Dang it, you have a point there. Now I realize that I could've saved 20K. But I'll do better than that. I'll get an SXT and save 40K. So there.

Let's hope so, Pierre. Can't remember for sure now, but if all Dodge Hellcats has to go to an upfitter, that'll slow yours down a bit. What train hub will your car end up at, do you know? Mine's going to Salt Lake City, and the dealer isn't far from there. Then it's up to me to pray for good...

2020 Lineup Across the Board (all makes) Doesn’t Excite

If I were smart, and needed a small 'wagon, the Porsche Macan Turbo wouldn't be a bad choice. With 434 hp and weighing about 1,000 lbs. less than the 'Hawk, it's no slouch. It's also less expensive. But I'm not smart, and don't need a little 'wagon, so the Trackhawk becomes the "logical"...

2020 Lineup Across the Board (all makes) Doesn’t Excite

Sorry, 2pac, but I think the BMtroubleyous have gone ugly lately. Aside from that, I'd pay extra not to have massaging seats and such. Actually, I couldn't care much less about luxury. That may be one reason I like the pedestrian looking Trackhawk; it's basically a Grand Cherokee with a...

I'm not sure a convertible version would look good.

2020 Lineup Across the Board (all makes) Doesn’t Excite

Maybe so, but if it's $100K it's by choice. Spending an extra $12 on options over base price doesn't make it any faster or quicker. Slower, heavier, and more complex, yes.

    The Official "I ordered" thread

Well, my car is at least born now, apparently built on 12-23. That's a huge relief to me as I feared a 2-1 build date. So now it's in KZL...until someone decides to give it a train ride. Merry Christmas, all!
