What features/options would you like to see in the next Hellcat?

I'll steal an idea from JRabq, as in steal from Porsche. In my case I'd like to be able to eliminate the touch screen and have buttons/switches for controlling the functions I need and want. A screen has no tactile feel, and requires that I take my eyes off the road to operate it. I really...

Whats your favorite "Sleeper" car of all-time?

This is my favorite sleeper. An MGB, lightened and with a healthy aluminum V8. No V8 badges, scoops, or any of that nonsense, just almost invisible rear fender flares to accommodate wheels and tires almost twice the stock width. It even had a better power to weight ratio than my girlfriend's...

So, who do you know that owns these cars, but isn't an enthusiast?

Haven't figured out what it should go on yet, but have a Police Interceptor badge, just in case,

So, who do you know that owns these cars, but isn't an enthusiast?

I'm afraid you might be right there. I have a set of Husky floor mats for it already...hopefully they'll fit. I could always grind the "Jeep" lettering off of those mud flaps. Already have "4x4" and "Limited" badges ordered. Not completely only for the stealth look, but it will be by far the...

So, who do you know that owns these cars, but isn't an enthusiast?

Meanwhile, I'm trying to find mud flaps for the Trackhawk that doesn't say "Jeep" on them.

Dealer hasn’t been draining my oil cooler

I use a regular wrench, which also works quite well.

So, who do you know that owns these cars, but isn't an enthusiast?

Am I enthusiastic about the Trackhawk? I dunno. Never even seen one that I know of, or sat in a regular Grand Cherokee. Never gave them any real thought until recently. But I am enthused about picking mine up next week. Why a Trackhawk? So that I can enjoy the power and blower whine in the...

Dealer hasn’t been draining my oil cooler

That plastic is barely enough to keep a large bumble bee away from the pan. It's not a skid plate by any means. Personally I wouldn't want to try 200 mph without that plastic, though. Chances are that the front end could get light. Either way, it was very easy to install James access panel and...

Dealer hasn’t been draining my oil cooler

Don't bring pesky facts into this debate, please.

Dealer hasn’t been draining my oil cooler

That instead of holding on to the dipstick while lowering the car, I have just left the car stationary and lifted the dipstick instead. Of course, my lift is kinda slow, like myself, so for me doing it that way is faster.

Dealer hasn’t been draining my oil cooler

I knew I was doing something wrong. Instead of lowering the car, I've been pulling the dipstick up when checking the oil level.

Dealer hasn’t been draining my oil cooler

It's as if you didn't read the entire thread...or your memory is worse than mine.

Dealer hasn’t been draining my oil cooler

I still think that the amount is inconsequential. To me it's the crap that has settled in that low spot that counts.

    No oil changes...

See, you should've left well enough alone.

    No oil changes...

That's what the suits would show up for; my warranty paperwork.

    No oil changes...

Yeah, I just went through that procedure on my Ram 3500 today. Normally I only reset Trip B, and that's only meaningful if I lose the log book. Maybe I'll get some black suits knocking on the door if I leave the oil life meter as is? At the very least, I should get an angry email.

    No oil changes...

My engine probably also looks like that under the cover. According to my (uninvited) friends at Uconnect, it's oil life is now down to 1%. That's after three oil changes in just over 3,000 miles. Guess I need to call them, or send a copy of my log book, to keep them up to date and in the loop.

    No oil changes...

The engine probably wouldn't have lasted as long as it did without a filter. Assuming it doesn't have a cartridge filter, in which case the oil wouldn't leak out if it was removed.

    The Official "I ordered" thread

Thanks. It's supposedly very close to DGatzby's red Challenger, called Velvet Red on Jeeps.
