    The Official "I ordered" thread

Oh, I sure plan on keeping mine long term, too. Otherwise I wouldn't have bothered with the careful break-in, early oil change, etc. In other words, I concentrate on those fairly important parts that make it go, and keeps it going.

Don't worry. Mine still runs great without any of that.

    FS Trackhawk for sale, probably

Hellcatfcp is probably just fine as is. Me, not so much.

    FS Trackhawk for sale, probably

Yeah, that only live once part is why I bought it in the first place. The smart thing to do would probably be to park it somewhere where I don't see it, then when the time is right it's just a matter of reinstating the insurance and go for a drive. Hmm. I have two empty enclosed...

    FS Trackhawk for sale, probably

Sounds like you're worse than I am, except that in my case it's the mechanical stuff I obsess over. No cold starts, for example. If it gets started, it gets driven and fully warmed up. Very careful break-in, early fluid changes, never driven any of them in the rain, yet, and so on. Anyway, I...

    FS Trackhawk for sale, probably

Yeah, I had a "detail kid" here recently. To me it's mostly oil changes and making sure the batteries are happy that consumes the time.

    FS Trackhawk for sale, probably

No kidding. And I'm almost getting sellers remorse already anyway. I envy ChargerChallenger who can keep so many vehicles around. Not being able to drive much, the maintenance is getting to me. I end up servicing more than driving, which takes the fun out of it.

    FS Trackhawk for sale, probably

Alright, an update. I remembered wrong, and the MSRP was 90.6K. And I have an offer for 73K. That's over $10 off per mile, which is brutal depreciation.

Wrench ID +, I highly recommend

That looks a lot nicer than the hammer and chisel I often use.

My pipe wrench still works every time. One trip to the toolbox is all it takes.

    JUNE HFCOTM VOTE / POLL

Fair enough, Bull. I'll file a formal complaint with Hunter then.

    JUNE HFCOTM VOTE / POLL

If only Bull would allow me to vote for a person, not the car, you'd have my vote Hellcatcfp.

    Nothing personal, Hellcatcfp, nothing personal.

I thought those were reserved for Chargers.

    JUNE HFCOTM VOTE / POLL

Alright guys, before you start voting, let me clarify something here. Yes, I was doing 142 in a 55, and yes, I met a cop. Where there might be a slight misunderstanding is that I didn't get pulled over. Instead, I was the one that turned around. Why? Because I know him. So while I didn't lie...

Time for a new enclosed aluminum trailer

Ouch. Okay, that reefer of mine does not have air ride, which I normally insist on. Had to convert the con gear to air myself, though, as those are few and far between.

Time for a new enclosed aluminum trailer

You're going for the nice new stuff. My latest purchase was $1,200 for a 28' reefer in good shape. Using it for storage. I think I paid around $3,500 for the other 28-footer...and then about 30K to have the living quarters built in the front portion. I remember looking at new dry vans at the...

Time for a new enclosed aluminum trailer

You win. I only transport my own stuff, so as far as Class 8 stuff goes, I only have two 28' vans, a 24' dropdeck flatbed, and a con gear. Then again, even if I only hook up the 24-footer behind one of the 28s, I'm still longer than your measly 53-footers.

I never knew there was so much hate on black wheels.

As long as it's genuine fake carbon fiber (cheap) it could very well become the next fad.
