Okay, so they still offer the better looking and (slightly) less complicated and tech laden version...is that wrong?

    Order Restricted!

They are things I'd pay not to have. Heck, I was willing to pay the same for a Base Durango as for the Plus I'm getting, but apparently the order couldn't be changed. So now I'm getting all sorts of fancy unwanted tech, and get to pay some $6K extra.

I can't even imagine the development costs for an inline V6. Would the crankshaft make a 180 and then go back to the other three cylinders?

Hello it's good to be back

How would you say that the two compare, good, bad and indifferent?

But running on alligator meat instead of spinach?

Agree. The Cummins in my 3500 doesn't sound bad, and the Cat in the Pete sounded really good.

Was that in Australia, or why did it lift the right side?

Even though a prototype has supposedly been spotted with the 6? Not yet verified, but it may be soon. Of course, they could sell both versions. One for people who just can't stand the power, exhaust sound, and blower whine.

With the 6-banger, making 35 hp more than the regular Hurricane?

Umm, if you ever looked at the size of the bits under an SXT (compared to a 'Cat), you wouldn't want to open the valve on that bottle.

EDIT - CHALLENGER owners - rear seat question

That's okay. Two of them are good looking females, and two are friends. I can live with that...especially here in the alligator free zone where they don't need to waste time on large reptiles, but can concentrate on catching tourists driving badly.

You guys are making me miss my SXT. If going slowly, might as well get good gas mileage.

You should also ask yourself "Why did I order this car?" It's on the build sheet I just got, so the answer should arrive in a month or two.

EDIT - CHALLENGER owners - rear seat question

We have a few black and completely stealth Ram pickups here, plus regular black and white ones. Also stealth SUVs, and the regular ones usually have winches. No cars around here.

Okay, was just able to pull up the build sheet on my order. One thing that caught my eye on the lengthy list is a " 'why buy' label". Quite appropriate for this particular purchase.

Dear demon, you obviously don't know me very well. Why would I interact with as many as four people in a month if I don't have to?? Two to three is plenty. Yes, I'm quite anti-social (in more ways than one), so just for the record, 4pac, demon actually exaggerated my mingling. Less people...

I don't think Dodge created the mess. For example, we went on a hunt for an RS6 Avant, and while most dealers wanted a $30K ADM, or more, I found one where we could order at MSRP. Then buying a Porsche Dakar was brought up. Well, that potential purchase didn't happen after being told to expect...
  18. Jimmy N.

    Dodge Redeyes

Well, I don't quite see why anyone would have to pay a big ADM, for anything. Okay, if a doctor says that for an extra $30K I can probably keep you alive, I'd most likely be willing. But for something I don't need.... It's a bit like when I sell a vehicle, I don't mind getting paid as much...

EDIT - CHALLENGER owners - rear seat question

    Yes, troopers often use Chargers.
