    Adding trailer package???

If we were closer you could have that stuff off of a '19 I recently bought. Somebody had ticked all the boxes on that one - except for the sunroof, thank God. Unlike on the '23, where I had not choice but to get not only the towing package, but also 3rd row seats and a sunroof. Couldn't order a...

    Scanner Recommendations

AlfaOBD is about $50 as I recall. And an MX-2 (or whatever they're called) another less-than $100. But in your case, an extra $15 or so for a bypass cable ('18-up Dodge, and probably also Jeep).

    New Durango 392 owner

You can't be all bad, 1971. At least you don't mingle with alligators and snakes, like that Hole707 guy.

Guys, Check Your Faraday Key Fob Bags!

That must be the new style solid state relays. The old kind was well behaved.

That's a lot of 1/2 quarts that didn't get regurgitated.

Guys, Check Your Faraday Key Fob Bags!

If alligators and pythons are considered aliens, I'm sure it happens somewhat frequently.

Dealership Ran Redeye without oil filter?

Yup, they can be a bit different acting, but it seems like the function is there on most any FCA/Stellantis...at least from '18 and up.

Dealership Ran Redeye without oil filter?

Never thought of squeezing out that last bit of oil, but it makes sense to me. I'll try to remember doing that on whatever I change oil in next. Of course, some feel that there's no reason to drain the oil cooler because "there's so little in it". Well, I drain it. What I already have started...

Since I like leaving the key in the car, should I carry a Faraday pouch just in case?

Stellantis Temporarily Laying Off 1,600 Auto Workers Amid Production Cuts

Interesting, considering that the vehicles coming out of Saltillo seem to be far better put together than what comes out of the domestic plants. Maybe paying forklift drivers $80/hr (if that was true) isn't the key to good workmanship?

Dealership Ran Redeye without oil filter?

Apparently it could be somebody else's smoking gun.

Meh. Let the pythons lick it off for you.

Dealership Ran Redeye without oil filter?

If that means that they fired the "tech" who did your oil change, that's a good thing. Not for you, but for future victims of dealer service. And again, an oil analysis should answer many of your questions.

    Ram Cummins emissions recall questions…

I saw three Furds towed by Rams going to Utah last week. Someone I know drives a Ram tow truck and tows an unproportionate amount of Furds. Apparently, sometimes the internet jabber can be correct. Then again, I'm a bit biased, never having had enough tools or patience to own a Furd. Sure have...

    Ram Cummins emissions recall questions…

Wait! You're worried about emission stuff on the Ram, but considering buying a Furd?!? A friend of mine routinely puts close to 500,000 miles on his Rams, no issues. But then, he tows somewhat heavy more than half of those miles. It's people that use them as cars that tends to have problems.
