    Weird, Cool, or Unusual Cars...

Bob, you just had to remind me, didn't you? A hearse is still on my bucket list. And the way I drive the Hellcat, I should probably get that one off the list before I'm in the back of one.

Get the cylinder deactivation off of a V8, wire it in reverse, and get a V12?

Who here misses the simplicity of a regular cab pick up truck?

Wow, I thought I lucked when finding one with just over 13,000 on it. A/C? I put a fan on the dash, which when it was hot turned out to be worse than nothing. The roof vent probably helped a lot more. Have had my M1008 for 10 years now, not getting rid of that one. But should sell the...

Who here misses the simplicity of a regular cab pick up truck?

Man, that's nice, and now you really made me miss mine. It was my daily driver for about 10 years, had a Banks turbo, 700R4, 3/4-ton axles with 4.10s, and a bunch of other stuff. With its crooked grill guard and generally not pristine outwardly appearance, it was great in Los Angeles traffic.

    Weird, Cool, or Unusual Cars...

Proof that two wrongs don't make a right. Plus, the stripes are a bit off kilt-er.

Has anyone installed laser jammers in their Hellcat?

Damn, Hickster, swat?!? I thought I was brave when snagging my current girlfriend from a district attorney. Yes, same county, too. And they were married.

    The Official "I ordered" thread

I hope so, too, Pierre, but my experiences have been different. One was very different. In other words, I wouldn't exactly plan my vacation around it.

    The Official "I ordered" thread

Congratulations. Please keep in mind that the info you get at this point is almost pure guesswork. Facts: D1, yes, shipping date, not so much.

    The Official "I ordered" thread

Even if kept in a cool dark place? In my case, that's in a box on a garage shelf.

    The Official "I ordered" thread

Oh, sorry, I ordered a Trackhawk. Seems like a fun vehicle for winter use, when the Hellcat can't be out and play.

    The Official "I ordered" thread

Okay, ordered on 12-2, got to D1 on 12-10. Or possibly earlier. This will be a whole new experience for me since the Jeep isn't built at the Brampton factory, and (I guess) no upfitters involved.

Who here misses the simplicity of a regular cab pick up truck?

Elementary, my dear Decay, they don't have the "Off Road" decals, do they?

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

    A helicopeter thread?

What was your reaction the first time behind the wheel of a Hellcat??

My first reaction once driving my Hellcat was "Oh, this is nice!" Which was shortly followed by "Crap, the next 500 miles are going to suck".

Can you run the A/C in a Challenger in England and still keep the beer in the back seat warm?

I hear that they're useful for removing humidity. But they have their limits, so the capacity may not be sufficient on a small island, for example.

How does an Englishman know what a sunroof is?!? Fog lights, yes, but a sunroof?

Who here misses the simplicity of a regular cab pick up truck?

It's doesn't fit the description since it's not a pickup, but it is a regular cab. Unless the sleeper counts, but it can easily be removed. Simplicity? Well absolutely nothing is automated in any way. Crank windows, stick shift (of course), and even the air powered windshield wipers are...

    Uconnect 18.43.01 OTA Update

Today the almighty Uconnect monster reared its ugly head when I drove my Ram 1500 some 100 feet, from the carport to the garage. It wanted to schedule a time when I wouldn't be driving for a while. Okay, since the screen wouldn't disappear and I'd be busy installing better fog lights, I let the...

2019 Hellcat Challenger dual stripe revision

I wouldn't have ordered stripes, but that car was off the lot. And over time I've started liking them, because they are so subtle. Kind of like ghost flames. Along the same lines, I try to have my car not stand out. Getting Granite was part of that. Debadging was another. In my mind, the more...
