Just a thought as a new guy,

They used 0-50, huh? And it still took embarrassingly long.

2020 Lineup Across the Board (all makes) Doesn’t Excite

Funny that you mention the back seat. Last night I was wondering how hard it'll be to remove the back seat. Since the 'Hawk has two doors too many, it'll likely be easier than it was on the '13 Golf R I had. It was thankfully a 2-door (looks and weight), but unfortunately a 2-door (harder to...

Just a thought as a new guy,

Okay, I'm easily confused. Is that supposed to be a Challenger, or just challenged? Better or worse than a Scatpack?

Just a thought as a new guy,

Dang it, you have a point there. Now I realize that I could've saved 20K. But I'll do better than that. I'll get an SXT and save 40K. So there.

    The Official "I ordered" thread

Let's hope so, Pierre. Can't remember for sure now, but if all Dodge Hellcats has to go to an upfitter, that'll slow yours down a bit. What train hub will your car end up at, do you know? Mine's going to Salt Lake City, and the dealer isn't far from there. Then it's up to me to pray for good...

2020 Lineup Across the Board (all makes) Doesn’t Excite

If I were smart, and needed a small 'wagon, the Porsche Macan Turbo wouldn't be a bad choice. With 434 hp and weighing about 1,000 lbs. less than the 'Hawk, it's no slouch. It's also less expensive. But I'm not smart, and don't need a little 'wagon, so the Trackhawk becomes the "logical"...

2020 Lineup Across the Board (all makes) Doesn’t Excite

Sorry, 2pac, but I think the BMtroubleyous have gone ugly lately. Aside from that, I'd pay extra not to have massaging seats and such. Actually, I couldn't care much less about luxury. That may be one reason I like the pedestrian looking Trackhawk; it's basically a Grand Cherokee with a...

2020 Lineup Across the Board (all makes) Doesn’t Excite

I'm not sure a convertible version would look good.

2020 Lineup Across the Board (all makes) Doesn’t Excite

Maybe so, but if it's $100K it's by choice. Spending an extra $12 on options over base price doesn't make it any faster or quicker. Slower, heavier, and more complex, yes.

    The Official "I ordered" thread

Well, my car is at least born now, apparently built on 12-23. That's a huge relief to me as I feared a 2-1 build date. So now it's in KZL...until someone decides to give it a train ride. Merry Christmas, all!

2020 Lineup Across the Board (all makes) Doesn’t Excite

I have bought more than one vehicle because an "improved" version is on the horizon. When/if a new Challenger comes out, will it look better? In my mind, that's extremely unlikely. But it's a fairly safe bet that it'll have more gizmos and doo-dahs that I don't want. Indeed, 700 hp and what...

2020 Lineup Across the Board (all makes) Doesn’t Excite

Not me. I recently got rid of four fun cars, and a trailer, but still have far too many. But that didn't stop me from ordering a Trackhawk. Why? Because I've never had a Grand Cherokee, and one with a blower can't be all bad.

Convert Manual Tilt Column to Power

Heck, you may even be allowed to back up with the door open. What a concept.

Convert Manual Tilt Column to Power

I was going to mention that, too. The wring itself is most likely already there, but it may or may not work without some dealer intervention.

Convert Manual Tilt Column to Power

I'm tempted to trade you. Mine has power, and it was painfully slow the one time I used it. Since I haven't grown or shrunk since, there has been no need to adjust the steering wheel again, but I wouldn't mind losing some weight. The car's weight, that is.

Will there be a 4-door Challenger for 2021? If so, I'm ordering one. Why? Because I can then get to the warm beer in the back seat easier

With or without a radar detector?

If I move to England, will the left door still unlock first...or do I have to get in through the trunk, working my way past the warm beer in the backseat?

My Challenger has the remote start, but if I change my mind and don't want to drive anywhere, how do I stop it?
