Looking to buy a trailer and need feedback.

It's really a side effect of shooting sod poodles. They generally have flies on and around them.

Ball peen hammers?!? Hell, no, not as long as I have access to my trusty .22, or a sledge.

Looking to buy a trailer and need feedback.

I looked into the Harbor Freight winches when needing one for a vehicle last year. While the prices were quite appealing, there were far too many reviews of broken and non-functional winches for my liking. Recently I decided to put a winch on a trailer, and bypassed Harbor Freight again, for...

    Winter storage of your Hellcats

Me too, but my bank account isn't nearly as full of it as it should be.

2023 being built right before Christmas

I'm starting to like my girlfriend's RS6 Avant. It's a bit of a sleeper (to most people anyway) with 590 hp.

I get it. It's just that I prefer a larger safety margin. We have comparable weight cars on the trailers, but the largest difference is in the tow vehicles. Mine has a longer wheelbase than a crew cab longbed pickup, and weighs about 9,400 lbs. Also, the inherent stability of the gooseneck...

Primarily it's because the straps generally are touching each other, which will result in wear. But also, unless the anchor points are a long distance away, the angle lessens the effective strength of the straps quite a bit. If perfectly in line they are at 100% of the WLL, but any angle will...

And you never should have. There must be a 1,000 ways to tie down a vehicle, but unfortunately very few of those ways are correct. Then again, what you tow with and how the towed vehicle is tied down doesn't really matter...until one day it does.

I gotta quit looking at these

You should also ask about the optional spare steering parts package. Maybe they can throw one in for free.

    What good is a EV?

Maybe we should give the greenies a bit of credit after all. They could've saved the Buffalo, NY, situation had they been allowed to present their new generator that runs on electricity.

I gotta quit looking at these

In my case they knew I'd trailer it, but that didn't seem to matter. Also ran into issues when trying to get an Audi RS6 from Arizona that my girlfriend had ordered. That dealer had a short list of approved shippers (brokers, actually) that could pick the car up. Reliable Carriers wasn't on...

I gotta quit looking at these

That's only the beginning. I found a really nicely priced Challenger in CA, and later an Audi at a good price. Learned from the attempt at buying the Challenger that not only did one of the rebates only apply to CA residents, but the real kicker was that it would've had to be registered there...

I gotta quit looking at these

That is very kind of you, but keep in mind that not only do they have to deal with Furds, but also the kind of people that want to buy them. (Obviously I had CC in mind)

I gotta quit looking at these

You have to show a little sympathy for them. They have to deal with Furds all day, every day.

Tell them you'll handle the registration yourself and ask them to send you the MSO. Easy.

    What good is a EV?

No, can't say that I am. I try to make it known early on that I'm only interested in what the new vehicle will cost me, not what they value either one at. If they want to offer a low amount for my trade, I say "Fine, just lower the price of yours accordingly". Has worked quite well at...

Are you publicly admitting that the Charger is a POS?

2022 Smoke Show Charger Widebody Hellcat

I don't understand why whenever it rains or snows, here in the USA it's called a storm. Still not used to that. Now, Los Angeles probably takes the record. I remember the TV news there being on drizzle watch. Yes, seriously. Anyway, I really really like driving in snow, and especially snow...

2022 Smoke Show Charger Widebody Hellcat

It's supposedly quite peaceful to freeze to death. Either way it has to be better than getting bombarded with building material and then having the alligators start gnawing on your limbs as you lay there with a 2x4 through your abdomen.
