    Getting rid of redeye

That'll work...if you're on a diet. I'm saving for that '69 El Camino I want, but don't need. Found a really clean '68 396 SS in CA, haven't heard back from the seller yet. Hope it's nowhere near as nice as it looks, has rust, a noisy rear axle, and needs an engine. That way it'll save me from...

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

    Curb your curiosity, please.

Brand new redeye still landing at dealer

I can see why they aren't selling, when dealers in Texas and the southeast are discounting them big time. Then again, lots of people don't shop around.

Brand new redeye still landing at dealer

Like the TRX, the GTs only come with black keys. Unless you meant drive the 'Cat with the black key. If so, I wouldn't feel any less bad after destroying it by going off the pavement regardless of if it was with 707 hp, or "only" 500. After all, they use the black keys at Radford, still...

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

I've been getting them from Amazon, Votex. P/N DP001 for the engine and DP009 for the level plug, if memory serves me. Also, one of our 'Cat guys makes really strong ones, but naturally I can't remember his screen name now.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Amazon, usually. And if I'm not prepared, at the NAPA in town. A 'Cat only takes just over a quart, so some $22 for Amsoil, then leftovers from prior changes.

Brand new redeye still landing at dealer

They corner a bit better, if that helps. Of course, part of that might be that I can drive it differently, not worrying too much about wrapping it around a tree. It would be far less costly.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Hmm. I really wouldn't mind trying it on your car first. That way I could do it correctly next time, on mine.

Brand new redeye still landing at dealer

You might need a bigger garage, Eric. But I agree, they would be nice to have. Speaking of buying cars, those $21K SXTs are still bugging my brain cell. That's less than Carvana wants for used ones..

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Ouch! That's a lot for removing and tightening two plugs, plus maybe $25 worth of fluid (if it's the expensive Amsoil). And another ouch for going 41K on what was most likely an underfilled diff to start with. I like to check the level as soon as the vehicle comes off the trailer, and install a...

Has The Used Car Market Collapsed?

Air chisel?? I use the plasma cutter for that kind of stuff.

Has The Used Car Market Collapsed?

And you can get an SXT Challenger for some 40% off.

Has The Used Car Market Collapsed?

I just checked some ads, and 25-40K seems to be where the decent ones are priced. Won't mind fixing a few things, and it'd be great to have something without a damn touch screen.

Difference between the widebody and regular Hellcat

Stellantis Sabotaging New Rams and Jeeps?

Neither does any other appliances I've ever seen.

    Obnoxious exhausts....

Oops. That's what I get for not paying attention. Even more congratulations then.

    Obnoxious exhausts....

Eric, congratulations on your win. Even if a few ducks suffered from your driving.

    Obnoxious exhausts....

Which is exactly what God intended it to be - and why it sounds so much better.

Brand new redeye still landing at dealer

There's a reason they used leather straps to hold the hoods down in the past - at much lower speeds.

Brand new redeye still landing at dealer

You have an inside hood release, don't you? Just get rid of the safety latch.
